Ok first of all, I was NOT asked to make this review. I’m just really happy with the product.

I’ve had this for about 2-3 months and I just forgot to make a review earlier.
    Pros:
    – works perfectly
    – tells you when you need to add more water

    Cons:
    – tray too small, I have to hold my pitcher with one hand to prevent it from falling, while the other hand is pressing the water button
    – since the facet diameters are small, it could be considered “slow” at filling up a cup. But one gets used to it
    – room temp is still a little colder, but can be neutralized by adding some hot water

Also wanted to mention: the customer support is AMAZINGLY HELPFUL.
I got the first one from them and the water tasted like plastic. Like, a lot. Tried looking for instruction on how to flush the tubes and I used a vineagr+ water solution and it didn’t fix the problem. Then I used dish soap + water solution and it still didn’t fix the problem. I emailed assistance just to know what I needed to do to fix it so I could use it, and they told me they would just send me a new machine. No need to bother returning it. It’s amazing because I’m small and carrying it to the post office would have been a nightmare but they saved me the hassle.

I received the new one within a week, and the same problem arised. I tried all I could think of to flush it and remove the taste of plastic, and I couldn’t. None of my housemates wanted to use it, so I knew the only option was just to return it and get a different brand. The customer service agreed to allow me to return and I was about to! But then, a friend of mine who had another water dispenser and fixed hers, came and fixed mine too!! Now it tastes like normal water!!! So I am very happy with it and I also wanted to thank the assistance for being cooperative with me.

If any of you are struggling, here is what I did and worked:
    1. drain all the tubes before adding the jug of water. (mind that there is a screw in the back connected to the hot tank. Place a pot/bucket below, unscrew and tilt until no water flows)
    2. fill a large container with 1 or 2 cups of baking soda, 1 or 2 cups of vinegar, and the rest of the big container with water
    3. let sit for ~15 minutes so that the solution is sucked up by the machine and the heater has the time to heat up the solution
    4. flush equal parts from all faucets until the solution is all finished
    5. drain all faucets again (remember the back! Be cautious that you don’t burn yourself with water from the back)
    6. Fill the same big container with tap water to now flush away any of that solution that still remained in the tubes. Again, wait about 15 minutes before flushing. Repeat steps 3,4,5.
    7. Repeat steps 1-6 JUST for the HOT water tap. This time, allow longer than 15 minutes to warm up, like 30-45 minutes. Just to make sure that it works so you don’t have to do it again.
    8. You’re done!! Just add normal water.

    🙂

Save your money! I opened this dispenser and set it up per instructions! The pump turns on and runs for 5 months shuts down and says no water is available! It never even dispensed water! They do not except returns so don’t bother! I only put one start because it’s required …negative 100000 starts

From an aesthetic standpoint the unit looks very well in comparison to an ugly stand with a big giant 5 gallon bottle perched at the top. However, this unit is incredibly noisy when the cold water pump engages and or hot water it makes a lot of noise and it runs for quite a while before it shuts off. We’ve only had a couple of days but we discovered that for some reason it was a leaking water from the bottom and we don’t know where it’s coming from whether it’s the top around the bottle or first we thought maybe the bottle and a hole in it so we don’t know yet so we’re watching it very closely to try to find out why. So at this point all we can do is be in the middle of the road this week we can’t say whether we really like it or we really hate it yet.

The company totally took care of the broken piece and sent a new cooler/heater base! The new one is awesome!! Quiet and the hot and cold work great and its a nice looking addition to our kitchen. After exchanging a couple emails they were wonderful at making it all good!! Thank you! Would totally reccommend this to a friend!

This is not the nicest cooler, however the price is good. Looks good. FYI-There are switches in the back to turn on hot & cold. I thought the hot water did not work, but the switch was off.
