I use this tool professionally and it keeps up to the demand. It has quality and gets the job done. Iโ€™d recommend to anyone from the diy guys to the professionals!

My wife “borrowed” my cheepo Harbor Freight slip-joint pliers from my workshop so I decided to go a little bit upscale and order both the 6″ and 8″ Craftsman versions. The “theft” worked out for me as the Craftsman pliers have much more comfortable grips and have the overall look and feel of quality tools. Perhaps I can get her to “borrow” my chain saw. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I ordered these for my kitchen for opening small jar lidsโ€”salad dressing, soda bottles, olive oils. I have used them for that but have also used them to pull plastic packaging off jars and containers. Because they slip to adjust the size of jar they will accommodate, I have found them super handy and keep them in the kitchen drawer with pens, scissors, tape measures, and other gadgets. They arrived with some sort of oil on them and I wiped the excess with paper towels. I havenโ€™t tried to wash them, but suspect the oil prevents rust.

I try to buy US brands when I can. Craftsman tools have been my go to ever since I bought my first ratchet at Sears. The quality is good, the grip is fine.
