I may be a novice at this but I couldn’t figure out how to line up the holes with the spiral. It was a hot mess. I returned it. It seemed portable and I wished I could figure it out. Nope.

Made calenders with it. Work as I needed it to. It has already paid for its self.

I’m both a stationery geek and a chronic upcycler, and this little binding machine appeals to both those interests. I use this to turn scrap paper and cardstock into notebooks and sketchbooks, and it’s a much easier solution than more elaborate binding machines or taking things to a print shop.
I found that the punch can take on 5 sheets of thicker paper or 6-7 sheets of standard copy paper at a time, or one or two sheets of cardstock. I had no problem lining up holes to make more than ten on a page; the bottom of the punch is clear, so if there is any question about how the holes are lining up, you can double check it visually just by turning the punch over. Once punched, the ring spines are easy to measure, cut, and snap on. The included tool, for “unzipping” the rings, is handy, but not necessary. You can also unclip the rings with your fingers, and, once snapped, they stay on well. I also find the plastic pastel spines to be much cuter than the conventional “office”-style ones that work with big binding machines. This is a fun way to make useful notebooks out of leftovers, and I think they make cute gifts, as well.

This binding machine is small, takes little space, and is heavy duty. I was looking for one for a small project and I was glad to find so many options through Amazon. This one is just perfect. Good quality and very reasonable price. It comes with cute multi-color spines. I cut one with scissors for the size needed. Now I feel that I can try binding other pages.

It was a little smaller than what I expected but for the most part I am happy with it.

This is a nice binding system for home use. It’s not meant for high volume or large quantities, but rather the occasional user at home who needs to bind a few things. I used it to make some small spiral type notebooks out of colored paper. It’s supposed to punch 10 sheets at a time, but I found it almost impossible to do that many. It was much more comfortable trying to punch 6 or 7 sheets at a time. I was also able to punch three sheets of either heavy cardstock or index cards at a time. It’s handy that the small tool is included to open the coils! It’s not hard to apply the coils once the paper is punched. The punch makes 10 holes at a time, so if you have larger sheets of paper, the guide on the side of the punch helps you line up the paper for subsequent punching. I found that standard eight and a half by 11 paper would require 30 holes to be punched. It works extremely well for the intended purpose, and the price is very reasonable, less than it would cost me to have a handful of booklets bound at a local office supply store. I recommend this.

when pushing more holes, it hard to line the holes with the spiral binders. not good for this only. I like that you can add more pages.

Valuable addition to my craft tools. Very user friendly, clean cut for the holes and suitable for home and office. Makes my project looks professional.
