not great quality. the shelves are all bent, didn’t come with enough of the strips to line the edges with so i have all but 3 black shelf liners, and its just not worth the price. i have some all cardboard ones that i paid a third of the price for that are sturdier.

This product came with no hardware to put together. I bought the dowels to put it together. The side slots kept falling out of place. I did what I could to add support. In the end. I was carrying it to my car and I set it down. It fell apart and I ended up throwing it into the trash. The cheap particle board was never going to never going to be sturdy enough to use. I went back to what I used before. It is made out of cardboard, but is less expensive and I know will hold the papers that I need.

Perfect for what I needed

I bought this to collect & distribute my students’ work. It assembled perfectly and is the classic mailbox system that it appears to be.

Cheaply made and cardboard shelving does not work well. It basically has four wooden particle boards and no true back wooden board to keep i solid and not shift. Super pissed I spent this much and should have gotten a filing cabinet.

This product does provide individual spaces as the photo demonstrates, but the instructions were difficult to interpret, you need tools, the glue wouldn’t set or get tacky, and the entire piece of furniture is unsteady even with the backing on. It is about the size of a horizontal two drawer file cabinet which is nice as it fits quite a bit of paper. Be careful loading items in the top as it began to sag in the middle with not too much weight on it.

I bought this for students in my class to hold their interactive notebooks. It lasted about 10 days in the classroom before it collapsed.
In the past, I have purchase other cardboard containers/literature organizers to use in my classroom and those held up fairly well, so I was not put off by part of this being corrugated cardboard. One of the other entirely cardboard literature organizers I’m using for the 5th year in a row, but this one just didn’t cut it because they didn’t measure the holes or the shelves correctly in the factory.
When I unboxed the unit, it seemed like it would work well because the frame is partical board/laminate. However, it arrived with the dowel rod holes drilled incorrectly so they did not line up. I had to re-drill holes after filling the old ones in order to put the outside frame together properly.
Most importantly, the corrugated cardboard that makes up the inside shelving is not sturdy enough for a literature organizer as you can see from the photo. Initially, I thought since there were a lot of cardboard shelving pieces and we were only going to have two student notebooks per literature slot that if the frame were put together I could get this unit to work. Unfortunately, the cardboard shelving itself arrived irregularly cut and some shelves were too short and didn’t stretch in every slot from one side to the other which lessened the structural integrity of the unit.
Overall, from having to redrill holes in order to construct the frame properly with the dowels, to receiving cardboard shelves that were too short, to ultimately having the unit end up collapsing, I would not recommend this product as it is flimsy and awful.

It is made of cardboard. It didn’t say that when I purchased it but they made it right and handled it well.
