Don’t be fooled by the size of the sharpener. Approximately the size of a small boxy alarm clock, this sharpener packs a powerful punch in sharpening your pencil. The sharpener is quick and reveals a good amount of graphite/lead in your pencil allowing ample pencil point to use ( as opposed to some sharpeners that are week and only reveal a small point of useable writing surface). Price point is good for an effective desk top sharpener. Cleanup is easy. Sharpener does not move around on table surface when sharpening pencils.

I sharpened 100 colored pencils (multiple different brands, varied shapes) and this sharpener only took/ate 1 tip off a pencil. So out of 100 it only momentarily jammed it once. It has a large capacity so you don’t have to empty it as frequently – but it does mean it isn’t slim. Not as loud as I anticipated, but still makes noise.
