I bought this as an upgrade for a Lefant M210 I had that died. Despite being twice the price it is much more useless at both vacuuming and mopping, and it makes a mess if you have pets. I have to walk around behind it sweeping and mopping every area that it misses, or worse, just picks up pet hair, wets it, and spreads it in a line to stick to the ground around the house. It frequently gets itself stuck. I go around checking it’s dust bin to see if it’s full and that’s why it’s struggling to work, only to find it mostly empty and the vacuum is just roaming, picking up nothing and leaving a slug like trail of water and dust/now dirt that it didn’t pick up. I will not be buying from this brand again.
It also struggles as a smart robot. It could be in the same room, ten feet away from the charging platform, when you tell it to go home, and it will move three feet in the opposite direction and just sit.

Do not purchase the Roomba essential combo under any circumstances. The Roomba essential combo is not capable of smart mapping so it will not learn your home and will never vacuum correctly or even vacuum a whole empty room. It will get stuck on nothing and it wont be able to find it’s way back to the dock most of the time due to the missing most important feature for a Roomba. This is a scam version.

J’ai déjà 2 IRobot 694 (1 au sous- sol et 1 au 2ème ). Mais celui ci est le meilleure. Silencieux, nettoie très bien. La fonction vadrouille est tout simplement génial. Mes planchers sont toujours impeccable , surtout avec 2 chats . Il s’occupe du rez-chausse. Ah oui! Pour mes 3 IRobot, la programmation est vraiment utile.

I bought a Roomba in 2017. It worked well until it didn’t, lol. It was wonderful to see how well it cleaned, but this year it began acting up so I purchased this one. I thought the 690 worked well–but this us night and day!
It’s hard to explain, but this Roomba is just plain smarter. The 690 starts, kind of goes around willy-nilly, and often missed spots. I’m not a programmer so I never programmed it. Bur right out of the box–this one seemed to start mapping the room immediately. I saw how it went in straight, overlapping lines and not just on a ride.
I haven’t used the .op and probably won’t. But so far the vacuum cleans well and works great.

OK updating my earlier review: I finally found a pdf manual online and some of the mysteries were revealed. I actually downloaded the app to my smartphone but my arthritic fingers and the phone aren’t really compatible so the manual as a pdf file was a real help. It would be nice if there was an app that would work on my desktop PC but it appears that us modern day Luddites are out of luck in that respect. That being said I really like this little vacuum.

Catches on everything. I layer my rugs and it has a hard time with them. Got stuck under my dresser and before I knew it, it had damaged my top throw rug. Also, the battery charge doesn’t last very long, and it doesn’t go to charging station of its own.

I have 3 dogs. I dirst run a Roomba 960 to prevac. Then I run the vacmop combo. The floor has no hair or debris and all the maeks ans spills are gone plus no more doggie smell! Usually these things are a big fake. This one is great! I am so proud of this purchase!
