Once you Button up, it doesn’t stay erect. The plastic is too thin to stay upright. The soil keeps falling out.
This is ok for those who just want a mat to place a pot or 2. For those looking for a proper gardening/soil mixing/reporting, this is not the product. look for something better

I got this for my sister for Christmas and she is obsessed with it. She has over 25 plants in our house and was using a cardboard box to catch the dirt when she repotted them.
This mat catches the dirt very well and makes it super easy to put the excess new dirt back into the pale she keeps it in. It folds up very nicely and takes up virtually no space when not in use. The material seems very sturdy as well (in the sense that it won’t rip apart or be destroyed easily.) I’m beyond happy that I decided to buy this for her.

I used this both at home and at school. Planting in pots can be messy. This keep the soil contained and made for easy clean up. It is easy to assemble and take apart. However, pull gently on the snaps when separating as they are a bit weak. A wet cloth easily wipes a way the residual soil from the mat. The mat folds up and has a strap to keep it closed. I would recommend this item.
