I installed these dusk to dawn lights hoping I wouldn’t have to replace the whole fixture. They work perfectly. What a cost savings. I will definitely buy more.

Was replacing a fixture. This light was a quick 5 minute install. Item is of great quality, with two 360 degree adjustable PAR floodlight sockets. Lights up my entire patio area and the some. Especially love the ability to point the lights anywhere, including both at same spot. Would buy again and again. Buy this.

The light fixture was easy to install and so far it works well! Good value!
Johnny Rockster –
This basic flood light fixture appears to be well made and it is well priced. It is solid metal and it has a ground wire.

These are pretty solid with some heft to them. They’ve been up for a couple of months now with no problems. Come with instructions and a gasket.
The dusk to dawn functionality works fine, although typically switches on a half-hour before I would, but most of these products that are mounted under the eaves do that.
Would buy again.

Lights up my life

Put this on my back porch to help keep critters away but so doesn’t stay on and bring bugs in. Nice appearance and easily adjustable. Great quality and brightness. Haven’t used the remote control in the year I’ve had it but maybe will some day.

I used these to replace 2 units without photo sensors (guesstimated at about 10 years old). “Good” quality by today’s standards (okay … starting to sound like an old timer here, aren’t I …). Housing appears decent strength, finish is fine for distance from which it will be viewed. Not too bad to adjust the aim of bulbs – about like other similar lights of decent quality with which I’ve worked. Gasket is … HA HA HA!!! … basically flimsy and a complete joke. Machine bolts were too short for my application (junction box recessed 1/4 – 3/8″ above down-facing plane of soffit, mounting flush to soffit) so I dug up some longer ones from my stash. Used my own wirenuts so I had correct size for # and gauge of wires given wiring configuration in my application (but to be honest, though small, at least the wirenuts that were included had metal threads in them).
The 2 units I bought look good and function well, turning on and off appropriately, over 2 mo or so they’ve been up. I put exterior flourescent floods in them and they work as expected. I’m hoping for quite a few years of service and based on the “decent” build quality, while I may not get 20 years, I think they’ll probably do okay. I don’t like reviews “right out of the box,” that don’t put the product through its paces, but I don’t figure a review years down the road will be helpful. These seem to NOT be your budget cheap-o junk stuff, but aren’t really high end either. Seem to be good compromise for value. I’d say I’d buy it again but if I’m doing that soon, it’s because they failed and then I’d probably not be as happy. So for now I’ll say I recommend them for those looking for good value on basic dusk-to-dawn flood light 🙂

update – they are still going strong over a year later. Happy with product. As above, still think they are “good” quality, not top quality so I’ll stick with 4 starts, but for price, over year without trouble, I would recommend them and would not hesitate to buy them again or recommend them. Just know you may need/want to use your own bolts, wirenuts, etc.
