Reef Draftsmen Sandals

Greatest Sandals I’ve ever owned I’m sure when I was a kid I had sandals as I grew up they weren’t really my thing and now as a 24 yr old I’m more of a beach kinda person but shoes were starting to get on my nerves at the beach so I went on a search for sandals my friend owned a pair that were worn out but had a great quality and look to them so I asked what they were I took a pic and went on a search on the Reef website Hit up Amazon of course they always have things for cheaper and bought a pair they go with everything ! and they don’t have that bitchy sandals look to them or that weird overly thick gross mandals look to em either or the “I yell at my wife in public look” a great sandal for a guy who just wanted something simple and this is simplicity in a sandal without trying to sell me ANOTHER “manly” product Reefs are great used for all my outdoor, beach and laid back activities 1 thing though ! I could really do Without the “f#@$boy” bottle opener at the bottom tho it’s not a big deal but it’s not necessary plus I mean I walk the earth with it do you know how many things you can possibly step on? Idc about it but it’s part of the product so I had to mention it not really a bother for me personally

My husband has worn these sandals for years, and they are an easy style to keep buying. This is his 3rd pair. They are comfortable right out of the box and require no break-in period. They also look stylish but are low maintenance.

I have Frodo Baggins feet. Flat-ish. Wide. Ugh. I can’t wear Rainbow flip-flops – too narrow. Quicksilvers are okay. These puppies, however, fit perfectly! I’m on my third pair and they hold up so well for flip-flops. The style is straightforward and classic. They feel great on my feet. If you’re checking them out, just go for it. They’ll be some of the best flippy floppies you’ll ever own.

I’ve been buying these flip flops for the past 15+ years, they are amazing. Comfortable, lightweight, well made. I wear them pretty much every day during the summer and they hold up incredibly well. I used to lifeguard at the beach every June-August and even getting them sandy/wet they last a long time. I’ve re-ordered them every 5 years or so. I’ve tried other brands but none have been as comfortable, cool-looking, or held up as well.

Ich trage die Zehentrenner erst seit einigen Tagen und kann somit keine Langzeiterfahrung zum Besten geben, bin aber von dem Tragekonfort angenehm überrascht. Insbesondere die recht feste und gut definierte Mittelfußunterstützung sucht unter so schlichten Zehentrennern seinesgleichen. Vielleicht liegt das an dem sohlenseitigen Flaschenöffner, der der Sohle etwas mehr Steifigkeit verleiht. Der Verarbeitung ist hochwertig, die gewählten Materialien schlicht und schön. Nichts drückt oder scheuert beim Tragen.

Zum Vergleich: Meine alten Zehentrenner von Seestern (zum Preis von ca. 20€) waren ähnlich schlicht, hatten auch ein Lederfußbett und hielten insgesamt immerhin mehr als 16 Sommer mit Salzwassereinsatz und allen erdenklichen “Belastungstests”. Allerdings waren die natürlich komplett durchgelatscht, als schlussendlich der Steg zwischen den Zehen gerissen ist.

Mal sehen, was die Draftsmen so alles aushalten… Jedenfalls bis auf Weiteres klare Kaufempfehlung!

Picture this. You’re hanging out poolside on a stupidly hot day. You’re hanging out with a bunch of friends who all brought icy bottles of deliciousness that are just sitting in a cooler, calling your name. One of the guests, who I’ll affectionate refer to as “that guy” misplaced the only bottle opener. Are you ready to be a hero?

All joking aside, it never ceases to amaze me how often I actually use the bottle opener on these. I’ll state the obvious here… do not walk on the grass if you are walking your dog with these. It won’t end well.

I think at this point I’m on to my third or forth pair of these, and I don’t see myself switching any time soon. These are super comfortable for every day wear, the beach, the pool, or just summer life in general. You can probably expect to get 2 years of life out of them before the leather starts to crack and peel, which it will. While the price has certainly gone up over the years to nearly $70 now, you can still get them on sale occasionally in the $40 range.
