I love these Oakley sunglasses. For many years I wore glasses for distance with clip on sunglasses. Recently I needed eye surgery and no longer use glasses for distance. Being able to wear real sunglasses is so great. I find these very comfortable, they are lightweight with very good detail. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Around the ear loops are so sharp. Not smooth. Scratches my face. It says 55mm on the description but it’s 57mm. Not the best version on holbrooks. Returned.

As others have said before me, these glasses ares shipped in an Amazon bubble envelope, so the box for the glasses showed up crushed, but the glasses were unharmed. Glasses themselves look great, they’re super lightweight, and the prizm lenses make everything look super clear and bright. The polarization take the glare off water, allowing you see clearer and see down in bodies of water better. Great glasses, and I found the daily lens to be a nice balance between blocking the sun but also being able to see in lower light conditions. When the lens is too dark, you are blind when you go from sunny areas into darker areas briefly, forcing you to take them off and put them back on. Daily lenses are good for a variety of conditions. Very happy with these.

I typically wear Ran Bans but these caught my eye when shopping for a new pair of sunglasses. These were a little cheaper than the Ray Bans but I feel like the quality is about the same, at least compared to my old pair. The big difference is the lens, they are amazing! But I did get the polarized version. Overall, I have no complaints. However, I would recommend getting a hard case as they only come with a soft case and I have read the lens scratch easily.

Got hooked on Serengeti sunglasses decades ago, because of how they made the world look. These are similar.
Ever read about a normie who becomes a vampire and is mesmerized by how vibrant the world looks compared to what they saw through dull human eyes? Don’t expect that. But those sunglasses did make certain things – like the ocean and Soul Red Mazdas (red looks good) – look so vibrant that it became hard to wear any other brand. Those lenses were heavy, though. Real glass and higher quality, but heavy on my apparently weak face.
These days, lots of companies have lighter lenses that make the world more vibrant. Oakley’s Prizm lenses do just that.
I just bought this 24k pair and a pair with grey Prizm lenses. The 24k blows the grey pair away with respect to how much better the world looks. The latter is nice, offering a subtler, more elegant change in vision. But for what I wanted – to see like a day-walking vampire at the beach – the 24k was the way to go.
