This is truly a beautiful scarf. I ordered it in “Deep Berry” because the color caught my eye and it will set off most of my coats and jackets. It’s tightly knit and quite substantial, and it’s generous size ensures that it can easily be styled in a variety of comfortable ways. When I tried it on, I was happily surprised to discover how well it holds it’s shape no matter how I wear it. My favorite style so far is to simply lay it flat across my shoulders and cross it in front. The look doesn’t work well with all scarves, but it looks great with this one. The designer logo is nice, but it isn’t necessary for the quality of this scarf to shine through, no matter what it’s worn with.
The scarf needs to be hand washed or dry cleaned, and I’ll be happy to oblige although normally I dislike clothing that requires special care. I expect to wear this warm, lovely scarf joyfully for a long time!

Nice scarf. I spend my winters in a country in which the temperatures can drop to -40F, so as you might imagine I have an absurdly large collection of scarves. When I saw this one from Coach in Deep Berry I grabbed it immediately. I don’t have anything like that colour in my collection, and it really jumped out at me.
Now here’s the thing: this is just a fairly basic scarf. It’s made from a blend of acrylic and wool, and while it feels comfortable and keeps me warm there’s nothing all that special about it. You’re paying for the brand rather than the scarf, so my advice would be to make sure you *really* like the scarf as well as the brand.
If I’d ordered this in black or chalk I’m pretty sure it would have spent the winter sitting unloved at the back of my scarf rack, but because I really like the colour it’ll get regular use even though there’s nothing special about the materials or the design. I really love this colour, and it’s enough for me to upgrade what should be a middling review to 5 stars.
