This is a surprisingly versatile jacket. I use this jacket in winter as an outer shell during the week. It blocks the wind completely, and keeps my body heat from escaping. With a base layer and a fleece jacket, this rain jacket provides sufficient warmth for temperatures down to about -5 Celsius. On colder days, I use a heavier wool base layer and feel warm down to -10 Celsius. I should mention that the hood is essential for warmth, as it blocks the wind from your head and prevents cold air from hitting your neck (it zips up quite high–up to my lower lip). When the temperature drops to -15 Celsius, I use a mid-layer jacket under this jacket and feel warm, though it is a tad bulky.
During late fall, or early spring, this jacket provides sufficient warmth with a long sleeved shirt.
Having said that, I cannot wear this jacket in summer during heavy rains for the exact reason that I become much too warm. But from late September to mid-May this my workday jacket and it has so far kept me warm and comfortable for the past 2 years.
As an added bonus, it looks good and fits great. The hood zips up high to protect you, and with a neck warmer/scarf you will feel quite warm.
For colder weather, you could wear a down jacket mid-layer, but for very cold weather (-30 Celsius) you should, of course,

Eigentlich eine schöne Jacke. Jedoch ist die Qualität nicht überzeugend. Die Klettverschlüsse über dem Reißverschluss sind sehr schlecht vernäht, einer ging schon beim Auspacken der Jacke halb ab. Auch der Reißverschluss selbst wirkt nicht sehr stabil. Die Jacke ging damit zurück.

I bought this for a job which I spend 7-8 hours outside each day, and during this spring we’ve had lots of rain. I am a smaller female (5’1″, 120lbs), but wanted the mens small jacket so I could layer it with hoodies and so it would be long enough to cover my butt.
So far it has worked well in keeping my dry and my under layers dry as well so I stayed warm even in cooler temperatures for long periods of time. The hood has a small lip that helps block water from getting on your face, however I usually wear a hat as well since I have glasses and they tend to stick out a bit. The pockets also stay dry so you don’t have to worry about your phone getting wet. It also dries pretty quickly when laid out, which is a nice bonus if you take a break and you don’t want to put a soaking wet coat back on.

Wore mine as a jacket during my 20 days in Ireland. It got quite a bit of use in rainy conditions and worked very well. Comfortable as a jacket as well. One change is needed so it would be possible to roll up and secure the hood to keep it out of the way when not in use.

Super nice rain shell, I use it almost every day in fall, early spring here in AK as a standalone and as a top layer after if its not brutally cold. Its thin waterproof and a tough shell, the material really takes a beating when hiking, no tears yet. The only thing that is annoying is the sizes are not what I’m used to. I wear a xl and usually have enough room to move around in it for literally every jacket, coat, tshirt, hoddie, ect. but HH I needed to size up to an XXL. Don’t really care about the size, just know they run small and unless you like your jacket to fit super tight I’d size up or try one on at REI or Sports Authority before you buy one. Love the jacket as I said its a prefect lite shell!
