Love Ur Curls Ultra-Defining Curl Kit

Este producto lo vi en muchas propagandas y se lo compre por el cumple a mi amiga de cabellos rizos, y ella quedó fascinada con los resultados, me decía como sabias si no tienes el cabello rizo, jaja lo cheque mucho amiga jaja, también debes ver si con tu tipo de cabello funciona bien, supongo que en todos los tipos de rizos no funciona igual. El caso es que ella le encantó!

I’ve used this for 3 wash cycles now, and I like it. It’s the dead of Canadian winter, and my hair is pretty limp and more wavy than curly in this dry cold. My results might change in another season.

I find I have to use more than 1 dollop of shampoo, probably 2 twonie-sized amounts. I use a scalp massager instead of my fingers. I’ve found that my hair is a bit squeaky afterwards, but unlike drugstore brands, I can still comb my fingers through while rinsing the shampoo out. So I’m not entirely sure it’s actually drying, but in winter I don’t want it to dry my hair.

I could probably use the deep conditioner, since the weather is quite dry right now and my hair has damage from being dyed, but the conditioner that comes in the kit is doing pretty well. It’s not too heavy for my fine hair.

I got the curly leave-in treatment for extra definition, even though I’m 2C in summer weather. I think it does a good job of moisturizing my hair after rinsing everything else out. I use a mousse afterwards, though, so I don’t know how much hold it has by itself. I guess winter would be the time to test that, less likely to get frizz midway through my wash cycle.

My hair lasts about 3-4 days before getting greasy, and possibly I could go longer, but I haven’t found an opportunity to do that yet.

We found a better deal on Amazon, but it’s still a significant investment.

I dont usually write reviews about things but these products are amazing. My hair is type 2b . I always struggled figuring out a good routine. I would brush it out of the shower and leave it and i could never ever just leave it down. It would be straight in the front wavy in the back and It would be shaped like a triangle from my part to the ends. It would be so frizzy and awful. I honestly always had it tied back or in a claw clip and i hated it. Recently i was considering doing either a full perm or chemically straightened because it was just too much. After using this product twice Now i have defined waves, From the front of my hair to the back. My other half commented and said they looked beautiful. I have had other comment too saying they love my natural hair. The next morning i woke up and they were a bit unruly. So i sprayed some water in them and used the deep sea gel and voila. Back to normal! This stuff is a god send.

I have 2A wavy fine hair (nape length) and am always in search of the products that will enhance and hold my natural wave without weighing it down. I am new to the Love Ur Curls line but read plenty of reviews and watched many tutorials. The products have a scent that may not be for everyone, but I love it. (They do make unscented.) The shampoo and conditioner containers were difficult to operate until I noticed the little instruction to push hard (very hard!) to break a seal. They are both very moisturizing; shampoo has a rich lather. I feel those are keepers. The All-In-One is anything but. It’s easy to overdo it and I’m still experimenting. In some tutorials they suggest mixing a little in a spray bottle of water, and this is actually pretty good for next-day refreshing/reactivating and adding moisture, taming flyaways. The Irish Sea Moss Gel also does not have enough going for it to hold my style for very long. In the end, if I’m not going anywhere, these products are just ok, but if I’m going out, I most definitely require some hairspray to set my style. Unfortunately, the idea of having only 3 or 4 hair products simply does not work for me. Knowing what I know now, I would buy the shampoo and conditioner but pass on this set that includes the All-in-One and the Irish Sea Moss Gel. Also, buy a continuous spray water bottle separately from another retailer at a lower price. I currently use a combination of Love Ur Curls and Deva Curl products, including the Deva Curl hairspray, Pumping Primer and Defining Spray Gel (sprayed into palm and diluted with water before scrunching in). My hair gets more lift with hair clips placed at my crown and forehead after washing. Using a diffuser for drying also gives me a bit more body and definition. Don’t get me started on frizz. I live in Florida and have accepted there will be frizz to one degree or another. Short hair is definitely much easier….😏
