I was really disappointed in this palette since the shades are so pretty and I’ve been searching for a new cool-toned palette and thought I’d found it in this one. Unfortunately the powders are incredibly dry and hard to pick up with a brush and very light on pigment so I had to layer excessively. In the end I felt like I was fighting the palette just to get a complete look. The darker shades do have a bit more payoff than the lighter ones but I just really can’t see myself continuing to use this.

This feels like a Clinique product from 2005. I haven’t seen one of those foam applicators in decades.
The shadows are so lightly pigmented. I know they claim it’s “buildable” but that only works up to a point. Then you just end up with shadow fallout, chalkiness, and creases. It does blend nicely, at least.
I think this could be good for young girls just getting acquainted with makeup or for older women who want just the slightest bit of color.
This just doesn’t hold up to modern makeup standards, sadly. I wanted to love this.

You know when you order Clinique you are getting a good quality product, this is no different. It goes on smooth and is is nice and buildable. I am able to go very natural with this product, or a nice Smokey look. I love it. This is my favorite pallet yet!!

I am a Clinque eye shadow fan. This honey/rose is pretty much all I use. Stats put and doesn’t crease.
