This is a good beard balm, not a bad smelling one and works well to keep the beard soft and supple. As to whether it helps with the biotin for growth, it is hard to say, but it certainly doesnt hinder.

Not sure why this advertises as a hair regrowth balm – none of the ingredients stimulate hair growth. What they *do* effectively do, is improve quality of the hair follicle. I’ve noticed softer & more manageable hair with this balm use, and styling is super easy with it as well. It’s replaced the 2-3 other products I was layering, as kind of an all-in-one. It’s also smoothed out some of the more bristly bits and I think the skin underneath has softened slightly as well. So it’s good, just not going to live up to the hair growth claim.

As someone new to beard care, the 2X Thickening Biotin Beard Balm & Mustache Wax has been a fantastic discovery. The blend of biotin, castor oil, argan oil, and jojoba oil not only helps in styling but also strengthens and softens my beard and mustache. I’ve noticed my facial hair becoming thicker and healthier since I started using this product. It’s easy to apply and offers a great hold without making my beard feel stiff or greasy. The pleasant scent is a bonus. If you’re looking to improve the thickness and overall health of your beard and mustache, this product is a great place to start. Highly recommend for its ease of use and noticeable results.

First and foremost, this will not grow hair in places that it does not already exist.
What it will do is help maintain the hair that does already exist.
It is a nice blend of oils and ingredients, and even has a pleasant subtle fragrance to it. I usually can’t stand fragrances, but I don’t mind or really notice this one.
It does make the existing hair soft and condition which is nice. The balm is not quite thick enough to use as a styling product. It might look like petroleum jelly, but definitely doesn’t have the same consistency.
I gave it 4/5 stars because I was led to believe it will grow hair in places where it doesn’t exist anymore.
I think the price point is fair considering the ingredients.

I have a long beard and sometimes managing it can be a chore. This beard balm has been great at keeping my beard tamed all day. It smells really good but it’s not a scent that sticks around all day, which is a big plus for me personally. I can’t say that it’s made my beard fuller, but it definitely does soften my beard and keep it looking good. Best part is that they give you a little scooper to get the semi hard balm out without having to use the back of your fingernail. Does a great job at moisturizing my beard and keeping it healthy looking. Would absolutely recommend.

This beard balm is good and easyily absorbing.
It has a nice rich appearance after applying. It’s texture is also quite neat and it works well to simplify the beard management.

I have been using rogaine in a couple of patchy areas in my beard and am definitely seeing new growth from that, so I can’t say this is helping in that aspect, but as a balm a little goes a long way, it does not leave the hairs greasy and it does seem to moisturize pretty well. The smell is fairly heavily coconut scented which my wife and I both find pleasing. Definitely worth trying to see if you like it.
Update: After using for more time, I am more impressed with this balm than originally. My beard has been more manageable and softer with decent hold for a good part of the day at work. I also am enjoying the smell just as much as initially. As I said previously and feel even more certain of now, this product is definitely worth trying.

I got this for my husband and he likes this over the liquid beard oils he has tried. It has a very mild scent that is natural and does not persist. It has made his beard softer and does not leave it greasy, you don’t need much of it, but he has a pretty short beard. I like the quality ingredients and it makes his beard feel nice and soft and it looks good, no wild hairs.
