- This MOTU Origins Snake Mountain Playset is ready for storylines from the dark side of Eternia with multiple features and authentic design that’s a throwback to the ’80s look.
- In front, the Wolf head spins and the gate opens. The snake on top can pick up a 5.5-inch scale Origins figure in its mouth or knock it off the upper platform. Origins figures sold separately, subject to availability.
- As a figure moves up the stairs and through the upper gate — BAM. It will drop through the trapdoor into the cage. The cage can move to the dungeon underneath the throne of Skeletor for safekeeping.
- To get to throne, figures must pass by the wolf head and the intimidating spider. To get out, they must watch out for the ‘acid pool’ on the way to the hidden escape tunnel.
- Accommodates 5.5-inch scale MOTU Origins figures. Figures sold separately, subject to availability.
- Makes a great gift to expand any MOTU Origins collection for fans ages 6 years and up.

This goes out to everyone who has an issue with the big sticker Amazon is putting on these Collectable Display boxes of any type of toy. It is actually easy to remove the stickers without damaging the box, toy, or leaving adhesive residue behind thus ruining your toy. I use a hair dryer and heat up the entire sticker for about 20 to 30 seconds moving the hair dryer around so i don’t scorch the box then i take a credit card or drivers license and gently scrape the edge of the corner of the sticker and as soon as you get it to lift up just grab the corner of the sticker and begin to gently peel it off still heating the underside of the sticker as you pull it up and BOOM,, its off your box like mine with no residue… YOUR TOY IS SAVED!!!!! YOUR WELCOME….. Now people can remove the stickers and stop all this returning toys for NO REASON.. takes about 40 seconds to remove the sticker in total…. GAME CHANGER!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered this as I started to recollect my MOTU toys all over again in my adulthood. This was easy to put together and looks beautiful, so much better than the original crappy hunk of plastic from the 80’s. So many new details and it’s actually able to be used for playing instead of just a hollow plastic mountain. Order this sucker while the price is low.

Well worth the price and in my case almost 40 years into being in my collection. This set has a little bit of everything for everyone. It has many elements of the original toy playset, it has a element from the filmation cartoon(the bone throne), and it even has a new feature in the acid pool and the creatures living in it. You can even unsnap your good guy orgin figures at the waist and act like they are meeting their doom by melting in acidic goo.

Good play value. Only thing missing is a lava falls between the two halves of the playset. Mattel dropped the ball again! -but thankfully some 3rd party entreprenuers filled that gap! You can find them on ebay!

This version of the Snake Mountain is really cool. The paint application is better than the original and there is alot to enjoy posing or playing with the accessories. I’m glad I was able to purchase it before it sold out. We’ll worth the price.

I didn’t expect this Snake Mountain to be as good as it is. Possibly better than the Origins Castle Grayskull! So many features and some improvements over the original 80s version. The figures all look great posed in and around it. Definitely recommend this as a Christmas gift for kids or adult kids!

Dare I say that the Snake Mountain is an even nicer set that than the Origins Castle Grayskull? Make no mistake: Grayskull is an essential part of a MOTU collection, and the Origins one is a home run of a toy, with great value.
So it is amazing to see that Mattel has topped themselves with this Snake Mountain. It is bigger than Grayskull, and beautifully designed and built. Lots of fun details and play features. The reason I put this ahead of Grayskull is because it is a more versatile display piece for your figures. (But really you should get both if you can afford it and have the space).
From photos and reviews my expectations for this set were high but it is even more impressive in person, with its imposing size and elegant overall design.

Collectors or Kids who play with Masters of the Universe Orgins toyline, going to highly enjoy this playset. Wonderful for dioramas or for your kids to battle it out on. Go together very easy, no labels to apply, set up and tear down quick and painless, quality is just fantastic. My only complaint, this applies all the way back to the 80’s vintage Snake Mountain, scale is still a little to small for the 5.5 inch fig. This has always plagued this set. No different with this new release. Don’t get me wrong, this set is still beautiful to look at, and gets the job done for Orgins.
I DO NOT recommend it for Masterverse or Classics toylines. Just to small in scale.

Fantastico set que saco mattel es pura nostalgia y es que creo es un set que muchos estabamos esperando y es que cumple el sueño de mucha gente que deseo este set por mucho tiempo ya sea que de niño lo quizo o que se convirtio en coleccionista y lo quizo conseguir pero los disponibles antes de este estan muy inalcansables para la mayoria (yo incluido) y en cuanto a este set que se puede decir desde que lo recibi fue como un sueño ya que al abrirlo y descubrir esta inmensa caja con un arte tan espectacular te deja sin palabras es como cuando de niño esperabas a los reyes magos y te encontrabas con ese juguete que tanto habias deseado en cuanto al producto todo bien y completo no te cuento mas ya que abrilo y armarlo creo debe ser una sorpresa para ti ya que creeme te encantara, en conclusion gracias al equipo de mattel por hacer este sueño realidad y a amazon por su entrega rapida y consiza
