Our 5-year old granddaughter is enjoying this game. She changes the route and learning not to overwind the bulldozers on some routes because they’ll go too fast on the track and lose the balls. I’m just wondering how long the bulldozers will last if they are wound up too tight consistently. We will see!

The media could not be loaded.
Me and my 2 year old played with it and although he’s a bit young to fully understand it, he loved moving the parts around and watching the truck dump the balls into the end. He helped wind the cars up and put them on the track and give it a nice push to get going. We had a blast playing together, I cannot wait to play with this as he grows!

Worked as described. I will note that the squeeze brakes on the side don’t actually latch but rather they hold the tension until you can set it on the starting block. Sets up very easily and I’m pleased with the purchase. The little dozer sometimes runs out of steam on the long runs so I might have gotten the smaller set in retrospect, but with a proper windup it could still follow a really long route.

I love this product for my 3 year old. It really gets him thinking on how to connect the pieces to move the bulldozer. I love that theres a guide that has different learning levels and different set ups that you need to figure out how to connect from start to finish. The only thing I would love is a storage bag. Theres a lot pieces so keeping the box is important, but its big and theres not too many places to store it.

This was awesome. My 3 yr old grandson could just play w/it as a track. His big brother wanted to play it as a game. It was perfect for both!!

Great STEM learning tool. My 3, 5, and 11 year old all enjoy it (as do I).

This is the second puzzle of this nature that I got for my 5 year old granddaughter. It is very challenging. It is well made and the pieces are easy to handle. We are approaching this puzzle in steps. We first just set up some of the track and we began with using the dozers to push around the balls. The spring load vehicle is a little tricky for small hands to pull back and then hold before setting on the track. I think it would be very difficult for a younger child. I’m not sure if they have the eye-hand coordination. Then we began problem solving arranging the track so there were clear paths to move the balls. Even with an instruction manual, and the step by step placement of the track, it was quite tricky. An 8 year old neighbor joined us and she was intrigued. She followed the directions in the manual and was able to make several paths for the dozers. The 5 year old lost interest but the 8 year old kept at it for a pretty long time, and was successful moving the balls. So my assessment is, it is a great STEM activity with lots of problem solving potential, and as an adult guided activity it suitable for not younger than a 5 year old. I think a 7-9 year old would have a great time using independently. I will continue to pull out this puzzle for GD as she gets older and watch her growth.
