So far so good it’s a decent value even though some of the items seem a bit poorly made. The locks are old school and do there job but the door nob covers are difficult to install and remove and don’t work with my particular door nobs. The small plastic piece on the end of each is also very flimsy and already broke on one of the two that comes in this set. Everything else is pretty much as advertised and works as it should. You can’t put a price on the safety of your kids so I ordered this and as much other stuff as I could find to child proof my home. I would still recommend this product despite a few flaws due to its functionality and relatively good price point.

I bought this one and the bathroom safety set. It was well worth it. The only thing wrong with this kit is its lack of drawer catches. I have custom kitchen cabinets and the drawers in my kitchen didn’t work with the latches provided. Al of my cupboards are secure though and I love how easy it all was to set up. Totally worth the investment if your are looking for easy user friendly baby proofing.

Los esquineros no tienen un pegamento fuerte, y suelen caerse. Tuve que comprar kola loca para que se adhieran. Ademas mi niรฑo es travieso y los quita de las esquinas …, tambien los cubre enchufes los quita… Lo que mas sirvio fueron los traba cajones, pero tienes que comprar un taladrito electrico para muebles para poder instalarlos.

It’s nice to have one kit that has so many different types of safety items included, so that you don’t have to make multiple purchases. The door knob covers are the ‘hard’ plastic and are difficult to open the doors for the adults too, especially if you have any type of lotion on your hands. The softer rubber ones are better, where you can just ‘squeeze’ the handle cover to grip the knob under it. These are hard plastic and you have to put your fingers through the holes provided, to grip the knob. This is not as easy to do as it would seem, especially if you have a knob that is harder to turn. I’ve actually found myself ‘locked out’ too and have had to remove the cover to get the door open.

My one-year-old granddaughter isn’t too happy about these but her mommy & daddy are super happy! Now their little one is safer than before.

The drawer catches require you to use teensy screws. We haven’t bothered! We are tired parents! We will try to find something different. The cabinet thing is so-so; once you latch it, there’s a portion that sticks out and is pointed. You have to finagle it so that the pointy part aims at the door and not toddler-eye-height. It seems from other reviews that most baby safety things are “fiddly by design” – ie, you don’t want it to be easy to operate. But I would prefer things that are easier to install. We’ll keep looking, and maybe buy individual items. This was a baby shower gift.
