Henri’s mom –
This food is excellent for my cats coat…she loves it to the point she will eat no other food.
Helps her pass hair in her stool, too.

For over a year, Royal Canin Hair & Skin Wet Food has been the secret behind my cats’ stunning coats. With a 5-star rating across flavor, value for money, and portion size, this cat food stands out as a top-tier choice for devoted cat owners.
Flavor:
The taste of this cat food is an absolute hit with my cats. Their enthusiastic response during mealtime is a testament to the flavor profile that Royal Canin has crafted.
Value for Money:
Considering the impact on my cats’ health and appearance, the value for money is exceptional. It’s an investment in the overall well-being of your cats.
Portion Size:
The portion sizes are perfect, ensuring my cats get the right amount of nutrition without any gone to waste. It’s convenient to serve, and the packaging maintains the freshness of each serving. A win-win for both cats and their owners!
This a must-have for those seeking both elegance and nutrition for their feline companions. It’s a cat-approved delicacy that delivers beyond expectations, earning its 5-star rating.

This is one of our cats’ favorite food. We recently waned our cats off of dry food (still a work in progress for one of them :-)) and this one cat loves the RC Intense Beauty.
While the cat in question is not that particular when it comes to food, we had to try all kinds of brands and flavors and textures from the cheap to the expensive till we found this one. Among them Fancy Feast, Friskies, Soulistic, Merrick… Most of them worked for a short while (especially the Soulistic), and then the cat ate less and less till he would walk off the moment he smelled it.
Royal Canin’s Intense Beauty, however, has been working now for a long time. He actually meows insistently when it is meal time and usually gobbles it all up in no time. Its nutritional composition is OK – it has relatively low fat, and a good amount of protein but is a bit too high in carbs to be ideal. The phosphorus content is also nice and low, which means the magnesium content is low as well. Since this cat has had emergency surgery 7 years ago due to a complete urinary blockage, the latter is especially important to me.
We offer this food mashed up a bit and mix it with some warm water, particularly when it comes straight out of the fridge. He likes it and we’re off the dry food and the insanely high in fat and carbs prescription urinary diet which had caused him to be overweight despite not even getting treats. Since we switched he has effortlessly lost the 2 pounds the vet recommended and we’re now in the process of adjusting the daily amount fed to something that will maintain his new healthy weight.

I’ve been a huge fan of Royal Canine for many years. Had my two siamese on the the instinctive wet and the siamese dry and thought I would throw them a little variety and try the hair n skin one even though it’s more money. Well I thought they were going to try to eat their plates as well this morning! Licked clean the both of them! Usually they get about 80 to 90% in the first round, go play a little and come back to clean up the rest but this was like a vacuum cleaning situation๐ My babies are worth it I’m switching to this one for their daily wet dose for sure. It’s also considerably more moist than the instinctive which I feel is what did the trick for them. The morsals are softer and much more gravylike liquid in the can…maybe 3x as much as the instinctive. Awesome!

My Maine Coon and Blue Russian rescues have been eating the Royal Canin “Thin Slices In Gravy” for over 3 years. This product has been the best of the best available for picky eaters. They like three flavors, 1) Intense Beauty, 2) Adult Instinctive & 3) Spayed Neutered. My girls eat this as if it were their treats and best of all It keeps them happy, beautiful and healthy! Buy single cans from the pet store to try it, then order it at Amazon. It’s a little better price + free shipping when order is $50. The new Royal Canin 5.8oz can “Loaf-in-sauce” they liked at first, but after a couple of cans they weren’t “inhaling” it like they do the “Thin Slices In Gravy.” IT IS NOW MAY 2018 AND I AM STILL FEEDING MY GIRLS THE ROYAL CANIN thin slices in gravy canned food. I am still rotating the above 3 flavors. They also eat the RC dry food that I leave out for them all day.
Kat –
Quality cat food, my cat loves it. Come in different kinds as well. We’ve been using this for years.
Debora –
Seller shipped this product which is not what was represented on Amazon. No return options so stuck with it. Not what I wanted but 2 of the cats will eat it. The other will not
Grow –
So Amazon wouldn’t let me return it since it’s a food product. I donated it to a shelter and they refunded my money. I order almost daily from Amazon. From paper towel, clothes, food, etc they better keep my business. ๐คญ

I have a four year old Birman cat. They have long fur that is a single coat. I have only given her Intense Beauty thin slices and Royal Canin Skin and Fur fry food. She loves this food! I was a little surprised to see in the description that you can feed adult 9 pound cats three cans a day. Yikes! My cat has been 9 pounds since an adult. We give her one can a day plus the dry kibble is available any time. Her fur is amazing and very little dander (my husband is allergic to cats but is fine with ours and doesnโt take allergy medicine). She doesnโt have many fur balls either. My vet also mentioned that cats digest high quality food like Intense Beauty so their poops are less stinky. Not saying my catโs poops donโt stink but itโs not bad and my house never smells โlike a catโ. I recommend brushing with the furminator occasionally, I do it once or twice a week to keep her fur super fluffy, remove dead hair so she doesnโt ingest it and to bond with her. Birmans are the fluffiest and the fur on their legs/paws feel like the softest velvet. You wonโt regret feeding this to your cat!
