I really wanted to like this and the product did everything is said; charged easily, 3 separate modes/speeds and performed as it said it would in the instructions. This is large for a cat (and definitely for a kitten), way too fast, slammed into our walls even on the ‘slow’ speed. If the gyroscope part were made of something softer/rubber maybe it would be better but we feared for our walls. It might be a little better on carpet but we have mostly vinyl floors and it crashed into everything at lightening speed. Frequently got stuck under our sofas, where it would bash around until it found it’s way out, which it didn’t always do so it would stop and then start again (which it’s supposed to do) and bash away until we could physically get it out. On top of that it totally scared the cat. She didn’t want anything to do with it. All that said, the idea is great. It just needs to be smaller, lighter, softer and take down the top speed a few notches.

Enfin ! J’ai trouver un jouet pour mon chat . Au debut il avait peur mais apres 1 journee c’etait ok. Cette balle est genial , je suis surpris elle ce dégage de toute les situations. Habituellement les jouets automatique reste prit au bout de quelque secondes et il faut ce lever et lever pour dégager le jouet. 3 modes et la batterie dure longtemps . Vous ne serez pas déçu !

It works at 3 different speeds and has a little sound, which is not at all annoying or strident if you are sensitive to sounds.
A useful fact, the ball is small and when it hits something, it spins, jumps and continues quickly getting into all the small places in the house (under the refrigerator, the sink in the kitchen or bathroom, next to libraries). that finds free enters, and can easily get lost if the space where your cat plays is very full of furniture or objects.
I didn’t see if it comes in other sizes, but in my case a larger size would prevent me from having to rescue it from hidden places often.
Material, how it works and way of charging did not present any problems.

Literally my cats favorite toy. He cries and herds you too it in the morning to turn it back on. Provides hours of enrichment. The seller is excellent also. This toy works on short carpet and hard floors. I do not have a deeper carpet so on that I do not know. You do need to clean out the cat hair it picks up on the sides daily, buy they made it very quick and easy to do that. Having a long hair cat , no matter how much you sweep and vacuum, there is pet hair . Love this toy so much I bought one for my niece. It definitely made my cat happy

This toy is very sturdy. We have a mix of carpet, concrete and tile floors and it tracks on all of them well. Uses a USB-C charger and the battery lasts all night for my extremely energetic 6-month-old kitten. He loves it. It’s very sturdy and it comes apart for cleaning, even the rope ‘tail’ part comes off and is washable. The spare rope attachment is very convenient.
I use a small pair of forceps to pull the hair out of it when I charge it and that keeps it going just fine.
Main complaints are that it can be very noisy bonking around at night. It’s a motorized robotic prey animal, and it’s meant to make some noise. Sounds like Stuart Little drunk driving a remote-controlled toy car. The bright flashing red light it emits while charging is kind of hard on the eyes if it’s charging on a desk and it triggers the cat to want to play with it. I’m not sure why that is necessary but whatever.

What an amazing toy for my cats. At first they were afraid of it but curiosity won out and now they stalk it. This thing randomly moves and pauses. It is like it is alive. It runs all over the living room and even if it goes under the furniture it seems to find it way out and it squeaks which always catches the cats attention. Best cat toy I have ever bought hands down!!! I have old cats and they love it. It is a good size and seems durable. It comes with an extra rope and will shut itself down if know one plays with it. No batters just usb charger. Love this thing.

I bought this item after seeing a video of a woman and her cat playing with this toy. I wasn’t sure if my kitty would even play with it. I love it and do does my kitty. It stays charged for a long time. Goes well on carpet and tile, and my kitty loves it and chases it all over the house. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that wants a good quality product for their cats to play with. Great price, very durable, charges easily and the charge lasts a long time. I gave it a 4 because so far it seems durable and works on my carpet, which I was worried about. However, it scared the heck out of my cat!
There is a distinct motorized sound, as one may anticipate, being a motorized toy. The motion stops and starts, it has flashing lights, and it makes a high pitched chirp noise (you can turn off chirping). When it was stopped momentarily, my cat approached it and then it started chirping and flashing and moving. Clearly, she wasn’t expecting that and she jumped 3 feet in the air.
Hopefully I can do some damage control and get her to play with it instead of being scared of it… But I’m not sure. It actually startled both of us lol. If I were to do it over, I would slowly introduce her to the noise for a while, then the motion/lights, then maybe she would be more playful and curious instead of terrified.
