It’s a good litter box it is a little bit smaller so if you have a large cat I don’t feel like this is enough room for it but I will tell you the lid doesn’t lock down the flap that comes up for easy access won’t lock in place either and it kind of flops around so I’m kind of thinking when my cat goes to use and I think he will push open the entire front opening instead of just the door so we’ll find out but I don’t like that it doesn’t have a latch anywhere to hold the lid in place it does have a lip in the back to keep it from sliding but that doesn’t keep it from popping off when he pushes out of it we’ll see if it doesn’t work for him I’m probably going to return and get another version that has a locking lid

This is a great size for my kitten. He’s only going to be 8-10lbs, so I think it will serve him thru adulthood. Nice quality, sturdy. He keeps all the litter in. Liked it so much, ordered it in XL for my large British Shorthair (he’s 17lbs). It would be a tight squeeze for him. Anxious to get the larger size too!

Lo compré porque mi gatita estaba creciendo y su arenero ya le quedaba chico, además de que hacÃa mucho desastre con la arena (tirada por todos los alrededores). Pensé que quizá este no serÃa el más amplio para ella (gato mediano/ 6 kg), pero la verdad es que ha resultado práctico y desde el minuto 1 se metió a explorarlo, lo usa sin ningún problema, parece que disfruta su privacidad y la verdad se ha evitado el desastre de arena (aunque todavÃa hay un poquitito).
La puertita de entrada se quita sin problema, asà como el “techo”, si descubres que es más cómodo para tu gato sin esas dos partes. Asà que me parece una buena compra por el precio y la calidad. El envÃo llegó en menos de una semana desde USA.

bought when the price was lower ($25) so based on that, it’s worth the money. the shield isn’t super secure as some has said, but it fits and stays in place because my cat doesn’t have the thumbs to pick it up so no problem for either of us (plus it’s really helpful either way and saves me from extra cleanup) the scoop it came with is small and useless but it’s no big deal since i’m really only paying for the litter box. been using it for almost a year now and my kitty is now full sized and it’s still a mediocre size. she’s a bit smaller than average so it’s good as a transition box between kitten – 1 y/o. the ridges on the bottom are a bit annoying when scooping but if you angle your scoop you can easily scrap litter off so i don’t know why people are complaining over their own lack of competency. quality is good, my cat is a big scratcher and the bottom is covered in scratches but it did not affect cleaning / the box at all. overall solid product!

We have three of these for our three cats. We love the big size and the high walls keeping everything inside. They’re high quality and I love that they came with a scoop. Easy to clean and my cats approve!

I really love the design of this litter box. It’s deep and enclosed so is perfect for cats that like to dig. I like that the front of the lid flips up to allow easy access for scooping.
The flap can be removed if needed.
The door-step grate really helps to contain the litter and prevent tracking.
I also like that there is a dedicated place for the scoop.
Just a couple of negatives, the spacing of the gaps in the scoop are just a little too big, doesn’t sift out smaller pieces of waste.
The bottom of the pan has some raised areas which get in the way when scooping. I wish it was a flat and smooth bottom.

I love these litter boxes. They take up less space and because of high walls, it keeps the litter from coming out of the boxes. I also appreciate the scoopers that come with the litter boxes which have a built-in hook to attach to each box.

First things first: This is a small box, don’t waste your money if you have a Maine Coon Cat, an overweight cat, or a long cat, your cat will not be happy with this thing. This is fine is you have one cat who is normal size. No guarantee your cat won’t end up urinating where the front opening is! I have an older cat who had been having trouble crouching down to urinate inside the box, so when I found this litter box with pee-guards, I bought it. Only problem was my cat has ended up facing the back, and urinating where the opening is, so I’ve had to make it a point to listen for when she’s gone into the litter pan and gently turn her around so she’ll urinate toward the pee-guard, and face the opening of the litter pan, which she’s doing most of the time. I’ve also invested in pee pads, putting one on the floor in front of the litter pan for the occasional mishap. The lock feature is easy to open and close, and no urine has leaked between the urine guard sides and the top of the litter pan.

I was hesitant to order this litter box. It was just what I was looking for, but I had to think about our kitty’s habits. Our cat is a little shy about going inside of anything, so I was worried about the swing flap. It also opens up very easily as shown in the description. She did not hesitate going inside with the front end lifted up. In about a week we put that down so she would use flap. She was a bit hesitant, so I took off the flap. It popped off easily. Overall, it’s very easy to clean, however, the bottom of the litter box has a lower ridge around it. It’s a bit of a challenge to scoop into that area. Overall. we manage by cleaning the box every two days. I would order it again.
