If you’re new to the world of cats, this stainless-steel cat litter box is an all-in-one kit that makes life a breeze. Our cats use it constantly, and we love how easy cleaning is. The included metal scoop is a super scooper, especially when you use clumping litter. Unlike those pesky plastic scoops that take forever to sift, this one lets the clean litter flow through while catching all the clumps.
If you use plastic litter boxes, this is an upgrade you will be happy you did!
The no-stick steel is the high point. Plastic kitty litter boxes and clumping litter are not the best of bedfellows. Often enough, in the past, I would almost need a hammer and chisel to get the clumped litter freed from the plastic box. Some litter can become stuck to the steel, and when it does, cleaning it off is easy.
This litter box is large enough for one big cat or multiple smaller ones. The high sides are perfect for reducing urine spray or leakage. Plus, the litter collection mat at the end actually works! It traps the litter and aids in keeping my floors a little cleaner. Just pick it up and pour the trapped litter back into the box—simple and efficient.
Nothing’s perfect, but this setup comes pretty close. If you’re a first-time cat owner, you can’t go wrong with this sturdy, easy-to-clean litter box. Your floors will thank you!
Not Who You Expect –
First off, the size of the XL box is nice and our average-sized cats can turn around and dig without any issues. The litter doesn’t stick and it scoops out easily. I’m glad it won’t smell like plastic boxes do over time. If you have a cat that likes to spray on the lid, then this might still be an issue, but the tall lid is great for litter containment too. An open top is convenient for cleaning and not forgetting, and it’s better for the cats so that they don’t corner each other. The top has tabs that secure it into place and the plastic is pretty thick and strong. The little litter grate on the entrance is gently sloped towards the box, which is nice given that our other similar litterbox has a flat grate on which litter collects. The included litter-catching mat makes it easy to pour the extra bits back into the box. Even though it sits slightly under the box, it still tends to shift around. To fix that, I put a few adhesive rubber furniture pads on it’s underside for some extra grip. The scoop is pretty nice. Some smaller pieces can fall through the wire at the back, so it’s nice for pellet litter, but the crosshatch pattern at the front catches everything. It’s handy keeping it on the side of the box. The whole set ought to last a long time.

After using plastic litter boxes for years, I opted to give stainless steel a try. My older cat and I are very happy with this order so far! The MIXJOY stainless steel litter box has been much easier to maintain and keep clean than the plastic boxes we have used previously. This litter box has convinced me to never go back to plastic boxes again.
This litter box comes with just about everything you need to have the cleanest and safest setup possible. The stainless steel box is so easy to clean. Smells do not stay trapped like with plastic or degradable litter boxes. Cleaning is a breeze with the included scoop. It does not scratch into the material and paws won’t leave scratches that can absorb smells and waste like the plastic versions. Instead, this metal material can be emptied and cleaned easily keeping a safe environment for my cat. The included top portion is plastic, but I do like that it has a small step with several holes that help prevent litter from escaping the box on the cat’s paws. My cat is a shy restroom user and prefers to have an enclosed area to use her litter box. Unfortunately, the top portion was just too tall to fit into the enclosed area. This is not a big deal to me at all, though as the litter box is large enough that my senior cat has no issues with getting in and moving around. There’s plenty of space for her to use and is just low enough that it does not hurt her joints climbing in or out.
After using this litter box, I can honestly say that I will never go back to plastic boxes again. Not only is this healthier for my cat, but it is so easy for me to scoop or completely clean out as litter and waste does not stick into the material. This is a little more costly for this product, but I will not have to replace this as often due to the ease of cleaning and maintenance. For me, this product is absolutely worth it.

This is the most attractive litter box I’ve come across to date. It’s pricy but overall a very nice litter box. I like that it includes a well made, large stainless steel litter scoop!
It does an excellent job of making sure kitties don’t track litter. The last little bit is caught by the included mat.
It would be almost perfect if the high back and sides were all one piece with the rest of the box rather than a plastic attachment on top of the stainless steel bottom. I realize this would add to cost and weight but the area where the two parts join get dirty and smelly in a way that would not happen if this were all one piece. It would be worth the extra price (and extra star).
Apart from that, it is still a very nice litter box.
Nautilus –
This is a Huge Litter Box, when the listing says extra large they are not kidding. This litter box is much better than my other ones. So a word of warning is to check the size of the bin and compare it to the space you want to put it just to make sure it will fit your needs. I didn’t have a problem with how big it was but is am sure some others might be surprise when they get it and not be happy that it doesn’t fit in the location they wanted it. It has some high sides to help keep the litter in the box which was great for me, I have one cat that likes to fling the litter all over when he is trying to bury his business. It comes with a metal wire scoop which I like a lot more than those plastic scoops you can get anywhere. As a bonus they added a litter mat which you put in front of the bin that will catch the litter from your cat’s feet when they are getting out. I also like how easy it is to clean compared to plastic bins. Over all I have been very happy with this bin and might get another one since I have 4 cats to keep happy.
