I ordered it for my Toy Breed pup who is litter box trained, and it works great for traveling. It folds into a small, lightweight and convenient size pouch which can be carried inside a small bag for any type or travel – planes, trains & automobiles.
The product designers are not only brilliant with coherent thought process, they also have a superior sense of material and color selection. Also, the pricing of the item proves that good design and quality products do not have to cost consumers “an arm an a leg”.

We used this for our cat when moving halfway across the country, and it worked well. It was fairly sturdy, and seemed to be easy and the perfect size for our cat to use. The smell was only kind of contained, but that’s to be expected. Easy to empty. The only real negative thing I noticed was that after having to zip it up to move it, that the zipper would catch on pieces of litter around the edge.

We were looking for a disguised liter box for traveling. Walking into a hotel carrying a regular liter box just doesn’t look good. I bought the larger size for our cat he’s about 12 lbs. I took the comments about possible liter spilling out ,based on zipper location , seriously. I placed a large garbage can bag inside and put the liter in that. Zipped it and left the pull tabs of the zipper by the handles/top of the box.
When I opened the box for the night, I just pulled the edges of the bag over the sides of the box and now we had a box liner. Worked great and no liter spills.
Ps. We travel using a standard plastic liter box put on the floor of the back seat of the car.
The travel box is well made but I can see that if used constantly and as the only liter box, the lining would probably not hold up.

I traveled cross country (literally sea to so-fl) w/ my 3 cats. I got 2 of thse litter boxes. I was hoping for enough space in my suv to use both at once. (I purchased 1 med / 1 large) But they are both pretty large. They fold up small and easily though. As limited on space as my lils were in rhe suv, I found it easier to use one in the hotels and one for their travel space. This meant I only had to alternate cleaning too, so win/win! The boxes are very easily rinsed out /folded for travel etc. The only con is that the outer layer is fabric and it does usually wet when cleaning. (It would be very hard not to get the outside at least a little wet). But I just dry the inside with a napkin after washing and had to set the litter box (filled for use) on a dry towel to soak up any extra moisture. I didn’t want them to mold and if its a shorter trip where maybe you didnt need daily cleaning/ use this would be a non issuse. Aside from that were STILL using them. Lol. So 3 weeks. 3 cats. And one eccentric but admittedly lazy catmama approves!

I never traveled with a cat before. We went on a trip for 1st time in 2 yrs. and we drove, my cat is older and couldn’t get shots and bad vet would not write a letter to board him. So, we took him with us. He was amazing in the car, this travel litter box folds so nice and small and flat! We stopped and put a litter bag in it, and he went right in! I suppose most cats should do just fine with this. You do not want to keep litter in it and zip it though? I think it said you could. I didn’t take a chance. We just put in a bag when needed and then took it out. Other than that, he was in his big carrier with a blankey ! At the place we stayed it worked great like his big litter box and it was really big too! We got the large size.

Great for on the go or travelling with you cat , very flexible and easy to use, a bit hard to fold back down to how it came but no biggy, also I find you need a decent amount of litter and if you cat likes to pee really close to the edges of the box I would recommend cause they will pee right one the edge hahaha but other wise great

I’ve been traveling with my cat for 3 months now, using this litter box the whole time. I love how it collapses and has a waterproof interior. The scoop is small, which is perfect for frequent travel, small spaces, and plane travel. I believe for 95%+ of use cases, this litter box is perfect.
However, if you’re traveling long term (3+ months) and plan to use this as your primary litter box, be aware of one thing – frequent clawing at the litter box will puncture small holes that make it virtually impossible to clean. I just bought a replacement, but trimmed my cat’s nails before setting it up for use. I’ve had a hard time finding a portable scratching post my cat likes, but if I keep his nails trimmed I anticipate the replacement will last much longer. Also pro tip – it’s probably way cheaper to buy litter at your destination than it is to pay the baggage fee to bring it with you. Even in tiny towns with virtually no pet products you can usually get food and litter.
