I’ve been using this remedy for years. Fish keepers usually have a hospital tank for the sole purpose of treating their fish. The trick is to use the correct amount ( I use under the recommended amount). Never overdose your fish tank and keep your bubblers going. Remember this has oil in it which will change the consistency of the water. I’m on day 3 and the band of fungus on my platy has almost gone. Learn about your fishes by joining a fb fish group or YouTube channel.

Works very well for sick fishes if you use the right quantity as per the dosing details. I have never followed for the duration mentioned however this always recovers my fishes with Damaged fins quickly. You will see the results in 2-3days.

Parece que el tratamiento es efectivo, no soy veterinario y si mueren mis peces puede ser por otros agentes o causas.
En cualquier caso tener este producto y aplicarlo a mis peces me da una tranquilidad

This is a good product with a good reputation, though I will say a little expensive.
My gold fish was several years old and had a massive tumor on his head. The tumor eventually began to fall off, I had expected this to happen at some point. I took him and isolated him in a quarantine tank and bought some of this to help him heal from his wound. Unfortunately he didn’t make it. I’m happy to have this stuff to help any future fish, I just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

While I like to smell, it doesn’t help to heal my guppies from Finn rot. Furthermore, my fish was drunk from this tea tree oil. Sadly, I didn’t research before I bought it. Melafix is tea tree oil. Itโs actually bad for bettas and inverts. It can actually slow down the healing of open wounds. There was actually an old study that showed it has no real anti-bacterial properties.

Have you ever witnessed the ping-pong ball drop into the fish bowl and your son or daughters eyes light up like vegas slot machine? 3 years ago those lights were beaming from my kids eyes as mine were rolling back. “Mr. Bubbles we’ll call him Dad” as I smiled through gritting teeth while thoughts of accidentally dropping the bowl in the parking lot danced in my head. While on the ride home I was reminiscing on all of the bad luck pets have had under our care and came up with a brilliant idea to tell my kid. “Honey, I know you love Mr Bubbles, but just know that these little fish only live a couple weeks” (I was hoping I could keep it alive at least that long) Three years and $200 later after 2 tank upgrades, pumps, filters, gravel, plants, log and all of the water conditioning chemicals Mr. Bubbles has survived. (After 3 months my kid changed the name to Miracle as it had far surpassed the life span I had given it. )
About a month ago, Miracle was hanging out on the bottom of the tank, not moving to much. After a few days of him being lethargic, we noticed some white gunk on his gills and his fins were not looking good. I googled and thought I found the answer in “Ick” after that did not work and Miracle’s condition worsened, I researched some more and found fin rot as the culprit. By this time, Miracle was just laying on the bottom of the tank mostly on his side, eyes clouded overโฆ. not good. Day one after putting the Melafix in the tank, he started swimming again, By day two he looked to be swimming even better, within a week, He is like a new fish again! No more cloudy eyes, strong swimming and appetite is back. This stuff really works! Highly recommend it!

My fish got sick and the local pet store doesnโt carry this product. Received order quickly and just dosed my tank. Hopefully it cures the infection.
