I bought this cage right before fire season started incase I need to get my rats out and luckily I did because not one week later we had a fire in our back yard itโs a little small but I had all 6 of my rats in it and they would have been fine for a small amount of time

We bought this for our 2 adult male pet rats to travel to grandmas house for Christmas. Itโs a 12-14 hour round trip in the car and they were there for about 4 days, 6 days total in the cage. It worked perfectly for fitting in the car with 3 kids and giving our boys enough room to relax and play while we were on vacation. Also protected them from grandmaโs cat and dog. (Donโt leave the strap on when you are not using it though! They chewed through it while we werenโt looking!) and the strap is handy for making sure you donโt drop it!
I would not recommend for baby rats, they may escape from the open areas between the bars at the corner, but there was no way our adult boys were getting out.
Highly recommend for safe travels to vet and during vacation for up to 2 adult rats.

This is not a proper carrier for any parrot. It is extremely flimsy. A parrot can bit it into pieces and you will have to go to the vet but they cannot scan for the pieces since they are made of plastic. It does not secure properly, not worth the trouble.

I rescued a baby squirrel from our dog. He wasnโt in good shape. Had him in a cardboard box for a bit. Well he recovered and once he opened his eyes he needed something more than a box. This cage worked out great. Price wasnโt bad for something I didnโt plan on using very long as my goal was to return him to the wild as squirrels need to be squirrels. You can see he did great in his recovery. Iโm left with a cage and my memories of Tim as now heโs with a animal rescue and a bunch of baby squirrels his own age. This was his home for 3 weeks. He did fine but as small as he was he did out grow it. Now I look at the empty cage and miss my little Tim.

I wouldn’t use this for travel as it’s only held together by 2 junky clips but for home use it’s perfect. We are using it for baby rats and they cannot escape. It’s the perfect size cage for them to keep them safe and secure. Easy to clean and opens from the top, it works great. My unit did not come damaged. I am waiting for them to come back in stock so I may purchase another so I can have 2. The price point is a good value. Would easily fit a rabbit or other large animal for transport or temporary use.
The bars are a tad flimsy but I’d say for the cost, it’s worth it.

Perfect size for transporting my guinea pig- but arrived broken which is a bummer. The entire cage looks like someone stepped on it and then pulled the bars back into place. Two of the bars are completely snapped.

I tried carrying my pet rats a longer distance once when I used to have pet rats and this would sort of open or I would have to take a break after a while. Would be fine for use on busses, planes, trains, or in a car though!

I bought this as a temporary cage for my Button quail. It works great. One thing I wish is that it had an additional small door in the front. Another thing is, the clips that attach the top and bottom do not seem secure. I havenโt traveled with it anywhere using the strap but if I did I would try to find another way to secure the top and bottom just in case a clip comes loose.
