Moving into a 5th wheel to live in for awhile I needed something compact. This is a great quality metal machine that is super easy to use if you watch the little video they have here on amazon. It doesnt show but youre able to get a good distance every time because there at 3 raise circles the cutouts fit into so you line it up properly. I was able to easily do a standard letter size page as well after taking a moment to see how I needed the paper to sit. I did up to 10 regular letter paper per punch and it worked well for me with no issue. Highly recommend for homeschooling.

Clean cut 6 pages at the time (didn’t try more, don’t think it would do well). Thoughtful design. Sturdy tool that creates polished result. All pages align precisely. Can’t believe this worked. I was skeptical because of the price but it amazing. Highly recommend!

The product has been performing effectively, although it appears that the spine opener was not included in the package.

Love this little hole punch system. I used it to make a homemade colouring book for a gift. It does 8.5×11 pages but practice getting the spacing right a few times on scrap paper . I used thicker paper so I only punched two pages at a time. My kit didnβt come with the ring opener tool, but itβs easy enough to open the binding rings by using a pen to βzipβ through them.

It took me a while to figure out how to place my paper to punch the Letter-Sized and Half Letter paper. The coils are super flimsy so I wouldn’t be surprised that they will break quickly. On the plus side, you can add pages as you need them. I wanted to create a planner for myself and I will be able to experiment and add different pages but punching the holes to make them straight and not have one floating at the end of the page is tough.

I wasn’t sure how sturdy this little 10 hole punch was going to be. I am pleasantly surprised. It is all metal except for the little tray that catches the scraps. The nubbies used to line it up to punch full sized pages work very well and line up perfectly if you take your time. The plastic binding rings are tight when you first open them but get easier once you do. I make gifted journals for cancer patients and the binding rings will make it easy for them to add pages to customize their books. Also, the punch works great with the 3:1 pitch spiral bindings. I LOVE this product.

I truly like the size and portability of this binding machine. I had some small books to make for my workshop and it was just fast easy to use. If anyone need a binding machine for small projects, no need to look for other expensive stuff, this does a great job.

I found it easy to use. Just follow the instructions and there shouldnβt be a problem.
never enough books –
There are no included directions for use and the outer packaging is 100% Chinese written language. Before you start your project, practice on scrap paper.
The raised punch guides are helpful once you get going, but there are no markings on the top of the punch indicating where holes will be punched once pressed. I missed holes on most pages and had to go back to punch, which wasted a lot of time. It also took some time to decide how close to the edge I wanted to start and end my spiral. The base plate is marked for A4, but I found my 11.5″ needed an additional punch at either end when I used this guide. Nevertheless, I did this for every page because it’s the only was to ensure alignment is the same on every page. So each page took 4-5 punches, plus an extra for a skipped hole.
There was a weird black funnel object included. I don’t know what it’s for.
I liked that there is a selection of binders-pink, light green, white and clear.
I could only punch one item at a time. I believe the mostly-metal punch could probably handle more, but the cover and base are so tightly aligned, you can’t get more than 1 piece of paper under it at a time. It is sturdy and has weight to it. Cardstock would be very snug, depending on the weight.
I also punched thin plastic pocket holders, but that required a lot of effort per pocket.
The bottom has a collection tray for the punched circles, which can be opened and dumped.
For the price, it is worth the hassle of no directions and some possible mess-ups. A few small adjustments would make this a superior craft machine.

Item is very compact and useful for paper crafting.
never enough books –
Honestly very hesitant at first to purchase this but I’m so glad I did. It is very compact and such a great value compared to one of the bigger machines. I’ve used it over a month and have binded so many things. I was able to punch through 4 pages (24lb) comfortably. The included binding things also work good and if you run out of those 3:1 spiral coils work perfect. Definitely practice on a couple of pages before working on your actual project. Great investment for homeschooling parents!

Well, to make sure I was placing the paper in the correct position, I tested this hole puncher on 7 individual sheets of 20lb paper (regular printer paper). Once I perfected that, I then proceeded with punching holes in one sheet of 100lb cardstock which was successful. So far so good right…..nope. To finish my project, which would have been a journal for my granddaughter, I needed to punch holes in 30 sheets of 32lb paper. So I began by bundling in stacks of 5 for efficiency and it wouldn’t cut through. Thinking that was the issue, I reduced my stack to 3 then 2 and finally a single page with the same result – it wouldn’t cut through. This is very disheartening as I’ve now ruined 10 pages and will now be reprinting. I will be returning and purchasing another more expensive item. I guess you get what you pay for.
