I’ve tried many mattress pads and they’re all… Well.. Crap.. This one seems to be better made and the down cover is very convenient in keeping the pad in place. The pockets kind of confuse me though, as if you put a fitted sheet over it the pockets are covered. I couldn’t help but giggle when I realized that after putting my sheet on lol.. Only slight issue was when removing it from the vacuum sealed bag, where it was folded in-half there was a very hard compressed line all the way down. After a few hours of letting it sit it was much better but could still feel it 2 days later. Wasn’t too uncomfortable but was noticeable. Since then I can’t even feel it. definitely sleeping much better.

This mattress topper is only ok- I did buy two of them, one for our master bedroom and one for our guest bedroom. Although they are pretty comfortable, it is just a foam pad with a thick sheet on top so the foam pad shifts and moves as you do when you sleep. Because of the size and material/texture of the foam, it is very hard to get it back into place/move it around one it is on the bed. Overall I like that the top part can be washed and it is comfortable but I would not buy it again or recommend it- maybe in the guest bedroom where it isn’t being used every night.
Update- this is not a waterproof mattress cover. Our son was napping in our bed and had an accident and this product was completely ruined. It soaked through all the way to the actual bed mattress. We were able to wash the white cover, but the foam padding is ruined. Not sure how to clean it properly- if possible. There is also a weird indent in the foam from I am assuming where he was laying/the area that got the most wet.
With this mishap and as I mentioned in my original comment- the foam slides on the bed. I would NOT buy this product and again and will not be recommending it.

Very nice product. It comes from China, so I was afraid of quality and smell. The quality is really good, similar to what I bought in the past from a “big box store.” So that was good. There was no smell at all, so I was very pleased. Went on the bed very easily, which was a good surprise. My back [had back surgery] has been better since I bought it, so I am pleased, again. I consider this an ‘excellent buy’ and would recommend it! Enjoy!!

I got this to make my guest room mattress more plush. I recently bought a memory foam mattress for my guest room/tv room, which was way too firm – to the point of being uncomfortable – for me, anyway. I doze in there sometimes and would wake up totally achy and sore. (Everyone has their own comfort likes, so for reference, my actual bed has a 4″ memory foam topper with padded cover, which you sink into like a cloud and it hugs you everywhere. I love it.) This padded cover is nicely made, tight stitching, quality thick yet silky-soft fabric and plenty of room in the sides to fit super deep-pocket mattresses. What the idea behind the detachable “side pocket” is makes no sense to me because aren’t you going to put a fitted sheet or protector over this? LOL! No matter, the cover is nicely done. Know that perhaps it qualifies as 1″, but really, it’s just a nicely made super soft, thick gel topper cover. Don’t expect it to add a huge amount of extra cushy-ness to the gel topper, which I find to be somewhere in the middle of medium and plush. I think that at 2″, you will not get super plush, you need to go thicker. I had my doubts at first, but it turns out that this topper made a huge difference in the comfort of my new mattress, soft and comfortable yet still supportive all in very good ways. I noticed a tremendous difference the very first night I dozed off in there and woke up feeling great, no aches! This topper comes packaged rolled up and already inserted into the pad. I found it very difficult to get it on the bed that way.. My advice: Take the topper out of the cover, lay it out on the bed, straighten it out, then put the padded cover on later. The gel foam expanded fairly quickly, at first there was a ridge down the middle and one end was not straight, I flipped the foam over, with the ridges down, pressed it out and wiggled it around to straighten out the ends and it fluffed and straightened itself out within an hour or so. Then it was easy to put the cover on, nice and smooth, and that evening I was happily lounging in my guest room with my pooch and a good movie. As for the cooling aspect, I noticed a definite difference to “before”, I would wake up sweating and hot. If you’re looking for sink-in-deep-I have-to-roll-out-of-bed super plush, go thicker. But this gel pad and topper adds a plush level of comfort, yet still supportive without breaking the bank. This has been a win-win all way around.

I have been struggling with bursitis in my hip for over a year. I don’t know why it took me so long to finally buy a memory foam topper. Well, I ordered this one and the very first night I slept better than I have in a long time. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. This is soft and comfortable, but it still provides just the right support for my hips and my back.

I have been through so many mats. Pillow topper, foams, a new mattress all of it. The comfort and sleep quality I get with the topper! The fit is a little weird in the corners. It is a good value for the price! It isn’t to firm but is a nice cushions to my firm mattress. My husband has back issues and this has been an amazing topper.

The memory foam is very comfortable but the top part looks nothing like the pictures. Let it sit for 2 days and tried to fluff it up in the dryer and it is soooo thin. It is basically just a thin cover for the memory foam. The memory foam needs to be laid out completely flat to get the creases out of it but they do come out if you do this. The memory foam does contour to your body and is comfortable so far but I have only laid on it one time. I wan8a thicker softer topper to help with back and hip pain. The amount that this costs, the topper should be as thick as the pictures. The price should be half of what it is. The pocket on the side are just a waste unless you plan on just sleeping on top.of the topper without a sheet. Debating on whether to pack it up and return it.

I was having a lot of back pain when I wake up in the morning. We ordered the this and after the 1st night my back pain was gone in the morning. I’m a side sleeper. It does get a little hot sometimes, but waking up without pain is worth the heat. And… Our sheets fit on it perfectly.
