En los ultimos 7 dias, he comprado 2 veces este articulo que es entregado por Amazon Mexico y ha sido mala suerte o son las ultimas piezas en su inventario porque ambas me han salido con defecto en la caña, la primera vez, la seccion principal de la misma presentaba unas fracturas o fisuras y la segunda vez, hoy la recibi, la seccion 2 de la caña esta quebrada o incompleta ya que no trae el num de anillas que debe traer acorde al fabricante, empezare la devolucion o reemplazo del producto, lo malo es que por dimensiones el envio corre por tu cuenta y te lo reembolsan en amazon cash

The Abu Garcia Max line is flawed. The tips break off off little to no pressure. That happened with this rod and a Max X I purchased before I bough this one. Both broke in the same spot. Something is wrong with the manufacture of the rods. Abu Garcia is a reputable and reliable company but something went wrong with the Max rods in maufacturing or design.

Garcia spinning reels are not what they used to be. This rod and reel combo was sold as medium weight, the spool is too small for 12 lb test. Whoever came up with pairing this rod with a spinning reel is an amateur. The 6 ft 6 Pole has eight eyes of small diameter that combination is a disaster for casting a spinning reel. I will attempt to put this real on a different Pole and go down to 10 lb test and see if that helps its performance. I don’t recommend purchasing this combination.

I have had several Abu Garcia combos over the years, and this one is a great deal for the price. I have caught big bass and the 7’ pole is strong but still sensitive enough to feel the bites. The reel casts good and is smooth. I would definitely recommend it

Shipping took 5 days longer than originally estimated. Box was damaged but not significantly. Opened it up and a piece of the tip was sitting between the layers of cardboard ready to fall out. The tip broke off, in addition to a second segment that was loose in the package. Opted for replacement but with very little hope.

My replacement came, still with some delays. But it arrived in one piece and it has survived many fishing trips. Overall I am very happy I got this combo.
