I bought this to use at the hotel and it worked but it didn’t fit the space for the door lock latch thingy. So it would jiggle and unlock the door. Counter productive but it got the job done.

Je vais définitivement mettre ce verrou comme nécessité de voyage pour moi. Une fois que l’on comprend comment il fonctionne c’est très facile de l’utiliser. J’aime le fait qu’il vient dans une petite pochette de voyage. Il a fonctionné sur la majorité des serrures lors de mon voyage et ça m’a apporté une paix d’esprit.
Le seul côté négatif est l’installation du verrou lorsque la porte est près d’un mur dans un coin, sinon c’est très facile.

So idk how all of these people are having doors that the device doesn’t work with, it’s worked on every outside access door that I’ve tried. And I’ve tried 4 of them at different locations. Maybe they weren’t following the instructions correctly? Idk. But this thing is phenomenal!!! It takes a bit of messing with to get it in properly but after it’s in? Good luck opening that door once the “key” is engaged in this device. And I really tried to pull that sucker open, and so did my friend. I would give it ten stars if I could! a lone traveler’s safety is no joke and this device is amazing!!! Side note it did bend a wee bit but it still does its job phenomenally. I highly recommend it.

My building manager has a habit of strolling into my apartment without knocking on maintenance days. Since we’re not allowed to install deadbolts or other locks, this was an effective way of keeping him out til I am ready (ie fully dressed).
It has two sizes so it should fit most doors, and it’s pretty simple to use.

Safety and cute. Two things you often don’t think go together but here it is! It sucks we live in a world where we have to worry about extra locks for extra safety but we do. I like the look of it, and it was easy to install.
However I realize that it won’t work if the person you’re trying to keep out has a key.
I’m returning it and going with a different type product that would work better for the situation.
