This is a great piece of security gear. easy to assemble, VERY sturdy — you need to experiment on the appropriate placement angle. at a less steep angle, it tended to slip on our wood floor. But once I found the right angle, it wasn’t going anywhere, short of a 300 lb football player.

Very good product, it holds the door in place which makes it safer! I have a 2 y/o son and he loves to open the door and we live on the first floor so it has helped me out by securing the door properly at night. It fits in place, it was also very easy to install. It’s metal but very sturdy!

 I got this door lock a couple of months ago and it has done its job well. We even tested it out from outside the door and it stays pretty sturdy. I like that you can adjust it to any height that you need it to be. We even took it to a hotel room and used it there and it made me feel much safer overnight. Price was great and nice quality. Super easy to use, versatile and quick to adjust.

I have never slept better. If you have any anxiety at all, get this. Put together in under a minute, it’s sturdy and works exactly as intended. Having the peace of mind that my door is securely inaccessible is very comforting. Also, in moments it’s not in use, I leave it next to the door and it could offer a pretty sturdy swing if needed.
However, PLEASE do not use this or consider other options if you live alone in very specific circumstances.
This could inhibit access to your place in an emergency. And absolutely do not attempt to use it when no one is home at all.

I bought this for staying in a downtown Airbnb that had a coded lock, just for peace of mind. Wish I’d bought it earlier, it’s fantastic! Super easy to use, rubber foot doesn’t scratch the floor and grips quite well. Now I use it at home as a second measure to my deadbolt. Lightweight but build is sturdy.
