It works really well but it doesn’t come with any instructions. You’ll have to find their video on YouTube to figure out how to use it properly. There are 3 small filters I had no idea what to do with until I found the video. It would be nice if there were short instructions included, maybe on the box. Once you get it figured out it makes nice foam and seems to work well so far. I used Meguiar’s Ultimate car wash soap and it came out really nice.

I threw this product away; total junk.
In my opinion this product had the right intent but the quality of the product and performance of the product fell way short of expectations. First of all the red handle is nothing but a glorified spray nozzle with a male screw in adapter to the foam gun. This red nozzle did nothing but leak, the use of the red nozzle is to squeeze it to deliver water to the foam gun which creates a vacuum pulling your water/soap solution from the canister and delivers it to the vehicle. I then ditched the red nozzle with hopes of using an adapter with water cut off to use just the gun. Regardless the foam gun has some kind of design flaw and separates from the gun (this is the quick release collar that mates the foam gun to the red nozzle.
Perhaps I got a faulty unit, but I examined it multiple times and have tried using it various ways, it just doesn’t work. If they have made some design changes since I purchased it then perhaps it works (and I think it would because I had temporary success and I like the way it dispenses soap – though this is nothing like using a pressure washer device with really delivers the foam). It’s not often I am unsatisfied with products but I struck out on this one. I am tossing it, and I gave it a year to try to use it and adapt to it but it has fallen short.

I wanted another type of car foaming system… Something that require me to get the power washer out, fiddle with fuel, all the hoses etc. this works fantastic. Not as much foam as something attached to the power washer, but plenty for a garden hose. I like that the soap dispenser quickly detaches so you can rinse easily

I did a lot of research before buying this. I did not want to get involved with foam cannons and power washers. The foam gun was the only alternative. The Adams Standard Foam Gun is well made and simple to use. There are 3 inserts included with the gun. They control the amount of wash solution that is dispensed. Just put the yellow one in for maximum foam and there will be plenty of it. I used a pink foam product from Turtle Wax. I used 4 oz of the wash and filled the bottle 2/3 full. Had enough to foam, rinse, foam again, hand wash with a mit and rinse … and had some left in the tank so i washed down the garage door. I used an auto squeegee to remove a lot of the rinse water before towel dry. I can’t recommend this product enough. The only time you would need a foam cannon and a power washer is if you do a lot of off-road driving. For every day driving … keep it simple and quick and get one of these.

This works incredibly well for a foam that hooks to a garden hose. It comes with 3 different sized nozzle inserts , I started with the mid-range tip and havent changed it .. spot on !! Ive read reviews about leaks and other issues but I have had no issues. Worked perfectly right out of the box. I fill it to maybe 1/4 of way with car wash soap for my standard Amercian dinosaur juice burning SUV and it’s plenty. Great product in my book – cant beat it for the money.

I have the Chemical Guys (CG) foam gun and now this one. I got the Adam’s one to keep on the boat, I was curious if this was as good or better than the CG foam gun I have for the cars at home.
So, here we go. The Adam’s unit is…. strange. They use some standard red hose nozzle, and put a very bulky quick connect on the threads of the standard hose nozzle to connect it to the foam tank. When using it to spray water without the foam gun, this yields a better spray pattern for the water, but any other time it is large and just seems odd to me.
Now let’s talk foam action. This unit is not adjustable, the CG unit is. The Adam’s unit produces an equally nice foam as the CG unit set on the max ratio. If you dont need/want to adjust the ratio they are both fine as far as foam goes. However, be warned it will suck a tank of soap down in 1-1.5 minutes. If that’s your style, then you will be happy. If it need to be adjustable is a topic of debate. Most people I know with the CG unit, leave it on max so that feature may just be a nice toy and not really needed.
The overall build quality of the Adam’s unit is fine, nothing special, nothing terrible. The bulky quick connect will likely be the point of failure, one too many drops on the driveway and I’m sure it will crack. At that point you won’t be able to connect the tank to the nozzle so it is no longer usable, just keep that in the back of your mind.

This foam gun creates good foam even with Clean Slate by the Chemical Guys, which is not designed to be foamy. The spray nozzle is pretty solid, but the foam gun is of a brittle enough plastic I worry about dropping it and having it break. Still, I really like it and would recommend this foam gun. and i’m looking forward to trying it with Adam’s ultra foaming shampoo.

I bought this for when we got to car shows or dont have access to a power washer for the foam cannon. works amazing. Ive used it a bunch to wash the cars and even help pre soak my garage floor when I cleaned it up.
For the price you cant go wrong. I would ignore the other reviews.
