If you’re into detail on a professional level, this kit isn’t for you. This kit is for the weekend DIY’er who enjoys washing their car right and keeping it clean.
Extra point for including sprayers with the bottles.
Soap: IMO, it’s perfect as you don’t need a bunch of it and it’s not foamy which makes it even easier to wash off. I love the bottle as well, as it includes a sports top for easy and metered application. Theirs enough soap in the kit to keep washing your car for years. Overall 5 of 5
Wheel Cleaner: The wheel cleaner left something to be wanted. First and foremost, I used 3/4 of the bottle on one wash and I was applying gingerly. Second, I let it sit on my wheels for a minute or two, and to be honest, it didn’t do much on its own. I had to grab the brushes and go to town on my wheels. Even after some serious time, I found small spots of dirt randomly. I wouldn’t purchase this product if it wasn’t part of the kit. Overall a 2 of 5
CS3: The application was simple the car really shines after this step. I still prefer Turtle Wax Ceramic coat spray to this as it’s more robust and leaves the car looking better. Overall 3 of 5
With that said, for $40 dollars this kit is a good deal when compared to other kits or separately purchased bottles from your autoparts store. In addition, it’s made in America and I can appreciate that.

Before getting this kit I hadn’t hand-washed a car in probably 30 years. Due to the pandemic and also to recently investing in a much nicer car than I’ve had in the past, I decided to go back to hand washing my car in order to take the best care possible of the paint job. In the past, I used dish soap and a sponge, but after receiving these products and watching some of the Adams Polishes YouTube videos, I realize that’s not a good way to wash a car. These Adams products are specially formulated to get your car clean and help protect your paint’s shine in the process (and they are easy to use). Now I know instead of using dish soap and a sponge which can actually add scratches to the paint, I should use a specially formulated car shampoo and a microfiber cloth to prevent scratching. I also learned I should be drying my car with either a blower or a microfiber cloth, and and protecting/polishing the paint with a ceramic-infused detailing spray.
This Adams kit has both the special car shampoo as well as the detailing spray, and also special tire cleaner and tire shine/blackener. I was a little confused by all these products at first, not having used so many to wash a car before, but I learned a lot about the Adams products as well as proper techniques from watching their videos. I am happy to report that my first try at hand-washing my car in 30 years was a success. My car is so much cleaner and shinier than when I get drive-through machine wash, and water just beads right off the paint thanks to the CS3 detailing spray. It takes a little extra time but every time I wash it I get a little faster, and when I think of how much better I am treating my car and all the money I am saving not paying a person or a machine to wash my car for me, I am thrilled.
Overall these products apply updated, modern technology to the old-school activity of washing your car at home. The result is a much more thoroughly cleaned car, a shinier car, a paint job that will last much longer, and tons of money left in your pocket. Recommended.

I’ve never used Adam’s car detailing products before, so I wanted to give these a try. I’ve used all of the products now over the past week, and I’m very impressed with everything!
The tire shine is especially useful. I used it very sparingly because I don’t want a real high gloss, and it gave me a real nice matte look on the tires, and it’s lasted for days with no change so far.
I also used the tire shine on my motorhome bumper’s plastic valance, and my truck bumper’s plastic valance, and both look brand-new now. I previously used a couple Mother’s products on them, and they always seems to fade in a few days. By the way the motorhome valance was especially faded, almost white, and it brought it back better than anything I’ve used on it.
I used the Clean Shine and Protect on my old Saturn coupe that was fairly clean already, but it really shined it up nice, and is super easy to use.
I just tried the car shampoo on my full-size pickup. I didn’t use a foam cannon, I just foamed it up in a bucket with about 2 oz of the shampoo, then applied it with the pole car washing mop and let it sit for a few minutes, went over it again with the microfiber mop, rinsed it off and dried it. It came out super shiny!
I used the tire and wheel cleaner just on the wheels for now, using a brush and microfiber cloth, and it also works very well.
All the products have a pleasant smell to them, and the spray bottles work fine, though they generally spray a focused stream spray, even when it’s set on wide spray. Probably a function of the fluids being fairly thick.
So considering how well they work, and that they’re basically $10 for each product, I think this is an excellent car detailing starter kit, and a real value.
Update 3-14: Everything I used the Tire Shine product on is still looking brand new, and the results from the Car Shampoo and Clean Shine and Protect is still lasting. These are really great products!
