This is the second time I ordered these string lights. the 48 feet length is perfect for my backyard area. It looks neat and provides ample light at night. Very pleased with this order and recommend it.

Does not list lamp base type in listing. They are a E17 base, S14,1watt lamp. Which are a odd lamp and expensive to buy. Four of the sixteen that were with the string have stopped working with less than 20 hours of use. Yes they were tight in the socket, I even tried the lamps in other sockets and they don’t work! Before buying string lights make sure of the lamp base.
Soon after my original review Addlon reached out to me about my issue. They offered me a refund for my purchase. I responded back that a refund was not needed and requested that they replace the lamps that were not working. They quickly replaced the lamps and everything is working fine now. I edited my review to five stars. Their customer service is awesome! Light string is working well now and looks great.

Only used the lights about six times and now we have four bulbs out. Hopefully this is not a trait. We will see.
Update 9/2/24 – Manufacturer responded to my post and supplied me with spare bulbs at no charge. So far no more bulb outages and we are using the lights on a daily basis.

Junk. Buyer beware. Bought in June. Used maybe 5 times. It’s now July and they stopped working.
I need to revise my review. After taking down my lights I found that a squirrel had chewed the wires and this is what caused them to stop working. In light of this I am changing my review to 5 stars. The lights give off a nice glow and the area looks great at night. I spliced the wires and they work just fine.

I love the lights and the ease of stringing them.. they give a warm glow. and just enough light ..that being said…I already have a burnt-out bulb. I felt the bulbs would/should last much longer than a few months…being we do not have them on every night and when we do, it’s only for a few hours at a time…Is this the norm? If so….it’s very disappointing…..Just saying….

I purchased the addlon 72Ft (36Ft x 2) and 48Ft LED Outdoor String Lights to line the perimeter of my Pool Enclosure. I had set them up the day of my daughter’s High School graduation (last week) and controlled them via a Photo-Cell (on at Dusk and off at Dawn). The very first night, my Neighbor texted me and asked me to turn off my LED lights because they were too bright. I let him know it may be that they are a new feature that he’s not used to seeing and asked him to give it a few days. He continued to complain (via text) so I told him I would look into a Dimmer which I ended up purchasing a few days later (Wifi Dimmer compatible with Google Alexa). He then texted me again saying it might be good to turn them off by 10 pm which I ignored because they are meant to be on at night. I now have my LED lights connected via a Dimmer and set to their lowest dimmable setting. I’m hoping he is now happy because I had to rewire in order to get dimmer up high enough that it could have easily access to my Wifi Network. Overall, I’m very happy with these LED Outdoor String Lights, they appear to be robust and made well, and hanging them was fairly simple (reused Christmas hangers that were still up). The only downside is it wasn’t obvious what the Luminosity would be by reading the description. From everything I’ve researched, I believe these are 2W LED Bulbs that give off ~150 Lumens (~150 Ft-Candles at 1 Ft). In my County, the Ordinance for Maximum Illumination is 3.5 Ft-Candles at the property boundary. Given the intensity drops off with the inverse of the square of the distance (10 Ft to property boundary => 1/100 = 0.01). 150 Ft-Candles * 0.01 = 1.5 Ft-Candles (per Bulb) at Property boundary so I believe I was potentially already compliant but installed dimmer anyways to appease him. I now have the dimmer set to its lowest setting for normal night-to-night use but will change setting back to being brighter for occasional Pool Party outings. I know that average Homeowner may not care but it would be good to publish the Luminosity and perhaps mention that a Dimmer may be beneficial if you have neighbors close by that are sensitive to light.
