Adidas Adissage Slides Sandal

My go to slip on shoes, comfy and good quality

Bought this specifically for my vacation, it’s worth the purchase!

I wear a size 8 1/2, so I ordered a size 7 (because I know that sliders run big), so the size fits fine. However, the black nibs are too pointy, it feels like I’m walking on pins and needles, such so, that I had to put gel insoles in the sliders just to walk in them. I really dislike them.

this is my second pair. I’ve returned to these. they’re the best value for me.

I have plantar fasciitis and these have been a god-send. I have wide feet and they accommodate my feet comfortably. I love that the straps are adjustable and the velcro is strong and doesn’t wear out. the soles last a good while and aren’t slippery like some of the other slides and sandals I’ve had.

my only complaint is that they squeak like spongebob when I walk. Maybe it’s just my feet. Either way, I can’t even take a whole star off this because of that minor inconvenience. I have another pair I wear in my house. they’re that comfortable for me personally.

I looked under the women’s shoes and ordered a size “7” which I typically wear a 7 or 7.5 shoe. I have an older pair of Adidas slide sandal that I loved that fit great and were just old and worn out. I hate these shoes, the strap isn’t supportive, they are too big and don’t fit my feet right. Now I looked at the “description” details which “Dept.” states “Mens” so go figure! I also just noticed in the heading the “W” not sure what this means either and if it was a “wide shoe” there was no mention of this. I already tried wearing these a couple of times around my yard and don’t have the box any longer, else I would return them. I would not recommend these if you are accustomed to the older normal fit and shoe, I wish I had gone to a store that sold them to try them on and would not have purchased them otherwise.

I get a new pair every six months or so, since 2013 and I love them. They are so comfortable and I like how they look. Now I have neuropathy on the soles of my feet from MS, and the nubs on the surface of the sandal make that sensation go away. My feet feel normal when I wear these. I think it’s because they stimulate other neural pathways so the I feel the the bumps and not the numbness. For me they’re very comfortable and fashionable for a causal look especially when you have a nice pedicure. I think the contrast between the masculine shape of the sandals and pretty painted toes is a nice look. And for about $60 a year, my feet feel amazing. They are very durable, and the band across the dorsal part of your feet is easily adjustable because they do stretch out a little, but I do like how these wrap and feel on my feet. I love the white and navy Adissage sandals but they’re not always in stock. I wish they did come in more colors. The only reason I get a new pair every 5 to 6 months is because they do tend to look worn after awhile and the nubs wear down. But I do wear these every day. These sandals may really help you if you have a neuropathy like mine. I hope Adidas never stops making the adissage sandals.

Decent quality, they don’t feel like they will fall apart. The velcro strap is nice, I must prefer slides like this that have an adjustable strap that you can loosen.

There are 2 main issues with these slides:

1. The back or heel of the shoe is oddly wide. I see other pictures of these slides online that look normal but mine have a super wide heel for some reason. The overall width of the shoe in the middle/front is fine but the back flares out for some reason. It looks like Adidas may have changed the design of this shoe at some point and widened the heel, not a fan of this.

2. The cushion of this shoe is really poor. It has a whole bunch of little beads that dig into the bottom of your feet and it gets pretty uncomfortable. You get used to it but it still feels uncomfortable after a while. I could only imagine how badly it would feel if you were overweight or just a big person, all that weight pressing down. On the upside, the cushion provides great grip/traction.

Overall, for the price I’m satisfied with the quality. They get the job done as long as you don’t wear them for extended periods of time.
