I am disappointed with this violin set. I was very excited to start learning how to play the violin. This set should come with everything to allow you to begin learning how to play the violin as an adult. It comes with a sticker that you put on the neck of the violin to show you what the notes are. It’s not a sticker, and I don’t know how it adheres to the neck, but it took a while to get on. The instruction book only shows how to put the sticker on and adjust the strings to tune. There needs to be a music sheet or how-to guide that comes with this kit. It comes with a tuner; however, it says it includes a battery but does not. The tuner has no battery, so you have to get one. It’s one of those coin batteries. The instructions show that you have to cut the resin for the bow. However, the photo does not resemble the resin in the pack. This is a great kit if you already know how to play the violin, if you already have some components that allow you to play music, or if you know where to put your fingers. If you believe, like I did, that this kit has everything you would need as a beginner, it does not. The neck of the violin feels cheap, and it might break if moved in the wrong direction. It also comes with a violin stand. However, there were no instructions for how to put that together or what it was. I only knew what it was because I went down the list and saw that they were selling violin stands, which looked exactly like what was in the kit. It’s a good kit if you know what you’re doing; otherwise, it could be better for beginners.
