I bought this product to store Lego bricks. I haven’t mounted it on a wall, just free standing on floor. It has proved to be a brilliant way of keeping bricks separate, with plenty of small drawers for the small items and plenty of larger drawers too. It is a perfectly sturdy storage system. Well worth the money. Very happy indeed with this purchase.

Bought two of these to store lego. Used an app on the phone to make labels that had images of the lego pieces that fit on the front of the plastic drawers. Was pricey, but worth it to keep loose lego manageable.

I wasn’t sure what to expect given the relatively low price, but absolutely fell in love with this storage unit from the minute I opened the box and have already ordered more for multiple purposes around the house.
The unit itself is sturdy. The drawers aren’t perfect, but suffice well enough that I’m not concerned (they’re your typical plastic on plastic, and can be removed completely if you want but stick when pulled out so they don’t come too far accidentally). The drawers fit a lot- I put batteries, screws, wire, pretty much all the small things- into each of them. I love that there are various sizes of drawer so that you’re not doubling up and can get creative. They’re also large enough to label- I just used clear tape and wrote on it, and it works totally fine.
This can definitely be used for everything from hardware to craft supplies, and in between. Highly highly recommend.

As a DIY enthusiast, I purchased the Akro-Mils 10144 44 Drawer Plastic Parts Storage Cabinet to store my hardware and craft supplies. Although I find it to be a functional storage unit, it falls a bit short on size. The 44 drawers are well-suited for small items and one-off projects, but I wish it were bigger to accommodate my larger DIY supplies, such as power tools and saw blades.
The plastic construction of the cabinet is of high quality and durable, ensuring its longevity in my garage storage setup. Additionally, the drawers slide very smoothly in and out, a feature that makes it easy to access my supplies, no matter how small they are. The cabinet’s clear plastic drawers are an added bonus, allowing me to easily identify the contents of each drawer without having to open them.
Overall, I recommend the Akro-Mils 10144 44 Drawer Plastic Parts Storage Cabinet for anyone looking for a compact storage solution. However, if you’re like me, hoping to store larger materials, it may not be the best option as its size is limited.

I have a particular use for this bin system. I assemble pc boards by soldering in a lot of different electronic components in my basement. I needed a way to organize these. Some components are slightly large (for a pc board), so the larger bins are perfect for them. Thatโs my useโฆknow your use before you purchase. As far as home use goes, if a man has small hobbies with small parts he does say, in the basementโฆthis is good. If youโre a woman with beads and other crafty thingsโฆI canโt think of a better system.
I imagine this system better fits business/small/light shop use. I imagine many men looking for a system for organizing things in the garage need something heavier-duty geared toward construction. This is not ideal for such use. Organizing miscellaneous screws and nails? Yes. Organizing bulky/heavy bolts? Not so much. Plusโฆthe grid system is plasticโฆI wouldnโt want it in my garage where Iโm moving around heavier tools and lawn equipment.
Good:
The bins are very sturdy as far as plastic goes. I love them. They are translucent and of a substantial composition. I hate rattling noises when components bounce around in a thin, hard plastic bin. This is thicker plastic that absorbs such sounds. Plus, that means if you drop a bin, itโs not going to crack. I would compare the bins to a Rubbermaid quality.
I can easily see what the contents of a bin are without openingโฆhowever, it โconcealsโ the contents enough so that the room does not appear cluttered. Does that matter? Does to me.
Not bad, but not great:
The grid you slide the bins in is not heavy duty. This is why it isnโt ideal for organizing stuff in your garage. For me, it doesnโt matter. My parts arenโt heavy. For less than $30, do you really expect something heavy duty? Not me. Expect to pay $50 (minimum) to get something like that. Again, this isnโt junkโฆitโs light duty.
Great:
Price. I donโt understand the criticism from some folks. I can appreciate the value of this system because Iโve worked in my familyโs small electronics shop where such systems are used. I know the cost of a good system is easily $50+. This matches the quality Iโm used to. It is very professional-looking, too. My Dad checked it out when it arrived and was impressed. He doesnโt buy junk.
Summary:
Buyer be aware (not โbewareโโฆbe AWARE)โฆthis system fits very particular needs. If you are trying to find a cheap way store heavy things with a system not intended for that useโฆthatโs your fault. You have to buy what is appropriate to your needs.

First off I just have to say I’m definitely on my way to by a second one soon! I’m an absolute lover of crafts and organizing things. With so many little trinkets around my craft area I was in need of a storage container that took the least amount of space possible without putting my utensils out of reach for when I need them! This first purchase I chose to use for my Perler beads, given I run a business using these. These little drawers are amazing, not only do they have ample room but also a little ridge on the handle so it makes them easy to pull them in and out. Some of the drawers come with a little excess plastic from manufacturing but not enough to be a problem, I just cut them off and voila! The only little caveat may be for display purposes that you should know before buying. In the second image you can see that it basically has an open back. I’ve never had a drawer slide all the way back and fall out, its simply a cosmetic “issue”. Truthfully I just have to remind myself to put it up against a wall and keep an eye out when i transport it with my beads still inside. However even while transporting it i’ve never had a bad spillage across the back when I taped up the front. All in all would absolutely recommend for the price, wonderfully made product with sturdy plastic and customizable little drawers. Perfect for any crafters or underneath a child’s desk for stickers and etc!

Cheap plastic trash. No back panel. Poor quality. Flimsy trays. Worth perhaps 20 Euros.
