What a great boot! It fits perfect, the chrome excel leather is soft and the packaging was outstanding! Price was spot on. Thank you Amazon!

Great fit and quality

These were purchased as a gift. The fit and quality are great.

I pick these up on a half off sale. As far as comfort, theyโre OK. I think my Cole Haan boots are a little more comfortable. The front part of the boot is more rounded.
Adirondack –
no need to consider discounted shoes, there are many flaws and uneven stitching on both shoes
material is good as usual but these are factory seconds
edit after one month: shoes are very comfortable but still disturbs me when look in details. I do suggest to anyone to purchase from a shop, this purchase is surprise chocolate for me.

These boots are not even second quality.
More like fourth quality.
I realize the sell seconds but this is crazy.
Amazon hit a all time low selling these fourth rate products.Size 13W

They seem to be holding up well.

I may be a snob but I own more than a dozen pair of handmade shoes. This is one of them. The pictures posted on negative reviews show how little people know about sizing. I can tell by the creasing, theyโve bought the wrong sized shoe. You need to get fitted for handmade shoes on a Brannock device. These are often two shoe sizes different than tennis shoes made overseas. I hate to see companies have to deal with negative reviews because people have no idea what they are doing. These are great shoes.

I picked these up for $150 when they were on sale. Even if priced at $250, it is hard to find a CXL leather boot with a Dainite sole for under $300. I have very wide fit so the EEE width is essential for me. I usually wear size 11 but I found the Pattons to be a bit too large at size 11. I moved down to 10.5 EEE and that is the sweet spot for me! I do not think AE makes these boots in EE width, so it is either E or EEE. You may want to keep that in mind when ordering through Amazon. There is some minor creasing in the leather but that doesn’t bother me at all at this price point. Besides almost any boot will eventually show some signs of creasing. I highly recommend the AE Patton boots!

Exchanged for another pair due to size, then second pair rear inseam just breaks out of normal wear within a day.
Refund is now taking its time, go instore to purchase

These bad reviewers don’t know what “split grain” (they mean loose grain) means, and don’t know that natural chromexcel is known to crinkle (grain break). Loose grain is when the inner layers of the leather are separating. Not just natural crinkles in areas where the shoe bends during wear. People with 20 years of experience in leather goods maybe see 1 example of actual loose grain that snuck by quality control…

Superb quality and comfort.
There are quite a number of independent reviews of other Allan Edmonds boots, but nothing that I could find on this model. Someone should do a review on these boots as they tick every box in my opinion.
