Ease to use, no assembly required, portability is easy, strong material. I bought two of these and will get more if ever needed.

This guitar stand is just what I was looking for … simple, well built and most important it safely holds my instrument, oh and the price was right. Thinking of ordering a second for when a friend drops in to jam.

Folds down small, has protective foam/rubber where it needs it. Works well for acoustic and electric!

I recently purchased the Amazon Basics Adjustable Guitar Folding A-Shape Frame Stand for my acoustic guitar, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The stand arrived fully assembled, which was a huge plus—no hassle with complicated instructions.
The build quality is excellent; it feels sturdy and secure, with non-slip rubber feet that keep it firmly in place on various surfaces. The soft foam arms provide a gentle cushion for the guitar, preventing any scratches or damage to the instrument’s finish.
Adjusting the stand to fit my guitar was simple and quick, thanks to the adjustable width. It accommodates both acoustic and electric guitars perfectly, making it versatile for any guitarist. When not in use, it folds flat for easy storage or transport, which is fantastic for gigs or practice sessions.
Overall, the Amazon Basics guitar stand is a great buy for its affordability, durability, and user-friendly design. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, this stand is a reliable choice to keep your instrument safe and accessible. Highly recommended!

The feet broke off my box fan and made it unstable. I saw some guy online who used a guitar stand for his box fan and decided to try it myself. It’s perfect! No more fan falling over. Very sturdy. Holds fan at a slight angle which I liked. I used this all summer and never had a problem. Better than buying a new fan!

Works Well for Acoustic or Electric (The former shown here). They fold up nicely for storage when not in use and are safe and protective for valuable guitars.

I bought one of these to keep my inexpensive parlor guitar at hand, and it works well, and the access increases impromptu practice sessions, my goal. Due to the mixed reviews, I looked it over with a critical eye when it arrived. Noticed it has brads, which I’m not fond of, but took another look, and the brads look sturdy and well-seated. It’s neither structural nor mechanical, and I think it will stand up fine to the intended use: to sit on the floor and hold a guitar. I jiggled it a bit to see if the guitar would drop off, and even picked it up by the base and leaned it forward, and it has to lean a bit for the guitar to fall, bearing in mind that mine is a bottom-heavy, 12-fret-to-the-body, small guitar. I’m still attentive about where in the room I position it, but so far, I’m happy with it. I also like that it’s close to the (carpeted) floor, so a fall is unlikely to be disastrous. Would I trust it with my $45K WWII D-28? No, but not a problem as I don’t have one.
Yesterday I had the guitar on my bed and the stand empty, and wanted to set my bodhran down, and without thinking about it, placed it on the at-hand stand, where it sat like the stand was made for the purpose. Since I had been actively seeking options for resting places (leaving in case or under a shelf rejected on the out-of-sight-out-of-mind principle; on top of a book case rejected because cats and gravity), this seemed serendipitous. I picked up the stand, tried the tilt test, and it clung with tenacity. Foam rest at top and on legs protected the wood. I looked up options for purpose-built bodhran stands, and decided to buy another of these, since they can then be used interchangeably for either instrument, and I was already knew what I was getting. This bodhran is a 14.6 x 5.5 inches/6 (38 x 14 cm), and it looks custom-built for the purpose.
In reference to the snarkilicious Q&A’s about whether this stand is cat-friendly, I noticed that my stand had tooth marks in the foam supports which hold the body of the guitar at the base. It was me or the cats, and I would remember, so I speculate that a cat or cats and the stand were getting *very* friendly at some point.

Un producto a primera vista bastante resistente, útil y sencillo

What an amazing price for something with such good quality. It’s sturdy yet lightweight, easy to adjust and the guitar sits perfectly in it. Now we can display our beautiful guitar instead of it being tucked away in it’s case in the closet. Excellent buy, highly recommend.

I’ve tried several similar stands from different makers, and they have not been good. Many have mostly plastic parts, or are very prone to tipping. This Amazon Basics stand is well made, with metal parts, rubber feet, and dense neoprene foam covering on the arms that support the guitar. It works very well, stows away neatly, and hasn’t gotten wobbly from being toted around to gigs. I wish I’d bought another half a dozen when they were on sale, to use in my music room. Excellent value even at the regular price. I’ve tried a number of guitars of different sizes, & this stand supports them well, with never any tendency to tip. The construction is very sturdy – it will probably outlast me! JANUARY 2022 Follow-Up. No complaints, and I purchased another when the price returned to “acceptable.” I’ve seen or tried some other, “look-alike” stands, and to sum up why the Amazon Basics one is better: The devil is in the details! The steel tubing used to make this stand is a heavier gauge than other brands I’ve tried. The “angle-adjustment” mechanism works, and has been robust. The rubber cap at the top of the A-frame makes quite a difference in terms of keeping the guitar upright. It’s not slippery – others are. Overall, the build quality and materials are just better than what’s found in many similar competitors, and they are sturdy. Mine original one has had plenty of use and is still doing the job – which is one reason I finally bought another. The other reason for buying another of these Amazon Basics stand right now is price: after my original purchase, the price per stand climbed and climbed, reaching almost absurd levels. They are now below CAD$20/each, so for a New Years Gift to myself it seemed like a good I buy. I don’t see any change in material or overall quality from the 2019 stand, and this one feels very solid, as the original did. My rating of 5 stars has not changed, and I have tried (and returned) several other stands since 2019 because they were shoddy and not up to the job. No stand is perfect for every style of guitar and every person’s needs, but this particular stand works very well for me.

This is the second AmazonBasics Guitar Stand I have purchased.
Packaged in the usual AmazonBasics style in minimal and easy to open packaging.
Not much to review here, the stand opens out into a sturdy, low and compact stand with two curiously designed arms to accommodate different shaped guitars. Both my Stratocaster and LAG Acoustic fit in the stand as expected.
The stand has a good weight to it compared to other similarly priced stands.
