This is great for my one cat household. The cover blocks out the litter if your cat is a digger like mine. This box also seems to keep out the litter odor.

The high sides on this box help keep the litter where it belongs, in the box. My cats don’t mind that it’s covered because it is quite high, with plenty of room for them. Sides are a smooth plastic that is easy to clean with a garden hose.

I have a few cats and this seems to be their favorite litter box now. I really like the shape of the litter box and it gives the cats more walking room so they can turn around and just move around more freely without being squashed while trying to go to the bathroom. Perfect size for XL cats too.

We’ve had two for a long time for our one cat, and we got a third when we had to watch a close friend’s cat while they were out of state for a medical reason. While keeping the cats quarantined from each other, we set the extra box up for guest kitty. Once we finished quarantine, the cats were happy to use each others’ litter boxes, and now our cat uses this new one in her rotation.
It seems evolution has failed our poor cat, as she doesn’t quite understand the concept of burying her mess, and instead prefers to just scratch the wall of the box. To her credit, I will take that any day over flinging the litter out of the box. Regardless, this litterbox is well set up for her antics. We keep the flap up, she really loves having her head out of the box while using it, but thanks to good litter the smell isn’t an issue.
Cleaning the box is fairly straightforward. Take the lid off, wipe it down with disinfectant, etc. I would have loved if there was a little more of a tight curve at the front to make pouring out litter when changing the litter (like an orange slice-shaped pouring spout just at the very front of the bin), but really that is such a trivial once-a-month issue that it’s not worth affecting the rating at all. The only other thing is that you probably shouldn’t try to lift the box when full by the handle on the lidโit’ll just pop off (the lid, not the handle) if your litter is heavy like ours.
It fits perfectly under my circa-2008 Ikea Lack side table, but no idea if the measurements are the same as the current model as it was a special edition version. Cat claws may leave a little mark on the box if your cat is really into scratching, but probably won’t damage it.
Will not fit a Maine Coon cat, probably. We’ve got a slightly chonky lil mix baby with stubby lil legs. She fits perfectly with room to spare. Guest kitty was larger, also fit well. But I can’t see an enormous cat fitting well.

Good quality. Reduces the litter sand mess around the box to a great extend. Although some litter sand is still stuck between their paws when they come out of the box. But overall it does it’s job.. before adding sand.. let your kitten get use to moving in and out of the litter box.. it will ease the process of accepting the litter box with lid on

My cats name is oatmeal and he loves this litter box like when I tell you guys the litter box filters to smell very well. It literally does and sometimes my cat will literally go and sleep in it. That’s how comfortable this litter box is the litter stays in there very well, and it’s easy to use and easy to clean. Only thing I would say is I wish you would add more filters in the box so that we can change them more often. The lock in the stickiness were also well made.
Great item, value and very durable. Easy to clean, keeps the smell down and litter off the floor. My cats love it! Bought a second one. If you have a cat, you really need this!

I searched all over for boxes that were the size I needed, and these were the only ones I could find that fit the bill. That they are affordably priced, delivered quickly, and great quality boxes are all total bonuses, and I will definitely be purchasing these again. These hooded litter boxes (Size “Standard”) are exactly the perfect size for me to fit them in the small space I have for two side-by-side. I have two large male cats, both of whom accepted and took to these boxes right away. The flaps definitely help keep the odors diminished. One of my boy cats did not bury his business in the much larger boxes I used to have, but he actually has been properly burying now with these boxes. These are very easy to clean with a rounded-style litter scoop.
