great cable for usb 3 devices that are gonna stay plugged in, not recommended for phone chargers its bulky, heavy and not really flexible but its still a quality built cable

I needed a longer cable than came with the external back up drive as the monitor had no USB. This cable solved it quickly, good quality and working fine.

I use a WD backup disk for my desktop, but the cord that came with it is measured in inches, not feet! As such I could only place the disk on top of the desktop cabinet, which is in a confined location on the desk. I always told my wife that in an emergency, GRAB THE BACKUP DISK! Unfortunately, the disk couldn’t be seen unless you got on your knees to look inside the cubby hole the computer was in. This cord (6′) allows me to place the backup disk where it is easily seen, and grabbed if necessary.
It is a heavy, thick cord that works perfectly. It fit my WD My Passport disk just like the supplied one, and works perfectly.

I ordered this to replace the cable on an old external hard drive. This cable is way thicker than my original one so it is not as easy to manipulate. That’s also a good thing because it likely won’t fail in the same way the old one did. So far it’s working great!

Silicone is one of the most abundant elements, and is very suited for making flexible insulation.
Use that instead of the stiff (even stiffer when it is cold) PVC. Thanks.
