Worst computer I’ve gotten, has no volume it’s slow.. very slow and it crashes every down when I use it and no it’s not my Wi-Fi or anything that can cause it. Save your money and get a better one seriously this was trash and if that’s not bad enough they refused to give me a refund and said they did not have spare parts to help fix this computer, garbage. Go get a new one it’ll be much worth it

I bought this computer in 2021. It initially worked well. Then about 1.5 years in, it just stopped turning on. I took it to the Apple Store and was told the fix would cost $500. This is frustrating bc I initially bought it for $650 and I think it should have lasted a bit longer than that.

I don’t even know where to begin on this review. If there was 10 stars I would give it. Not one complaint.
I was a little hesitant at first reading some of the negative reviews. Some said that the product came damaged, others said that the OS version was too old to update so the computer was basically worthless (can’t download apps or use Microsoft Office 2021/365), some said that the computer was slow and sluggish. These are all false in my experience.
1). The computer arrived well packaged and protected. It was protected by large, thick, bubble wrap coverings that held the entire computer in place during shipping. I was slightly disappointed that I did not receive a wireless keyboard and “Magic Mouse”. But that is OK. The keyboard and mouse that I did receive were wired, genuine Apple products that were clean, new in appearance, and in perfect working order. It is important to note that I did receive a keyboard, mouse, and power cable. Some reviews said they did not receive these items.
2). When I say this computer is just like new… it is just like new. Absolutely gorgeous out of the box. There was not one scratch on it. When they say in the description that it arrives looking “brand new” they 100% mean it. It came with a beautiful, rich display, that is just lovely. Set-up was a breeze. It was wiped clean and opens to the factory set-up screens. I was working on the computer in less then 5 minutes from the time I turned it on. Upon looking at the “About This Mac” screen, it said that the unit was running OS 10.12.6 (Sierra). This is the OS operating system from late 2016. I upgraded it to 12.0.1 (Monterey) with ZERO issues; first shot; nothing crashed. Address I used was: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/macos-monterey/id1576738294?mt=12. So I am running the most current version of OS and can now download apps and use the most current version of Microsoft Office. From what I understand, anything later than 10.8 (Mountain Lion), can be easily upgraded to Monterey if you have the storage for it. Depending on what source you listen to, some say it is 10.11 (El Capitan) and later that can be easily upgraded. I am not really sure on this, I am not an Apple Genius and don’t pretend to be. Regardless, the 10.12.6 (Sierra) that I received, upgraded to Monterey with no issues. If for some reason you can’t get it to update my friend who is an Apple person believes that Microsoft Office 2016 will run on 10.12.6. But thats taking a risk on purchasing software and it not working.
In addition, the unit did in fact come with 1TB of storage on the HD and 8GB RAM (4 and 4). There is No DVD or CD Writer on this unit.
Overall, this is just a fabulous iMac. Why would you ever purchase new? This was a literal quarter of the price of a brand new iMac and it runs perfectly. Only time will tell if my opinion will remain unchained. I suppose it could break at any time, but so far, so good. I highly, highly recommend you buy from “All Out Apple”. This is where I purchased this iMac from. In my opinion, an incredible price, for a basically new computer.
*** it is important to note, I am using this for a basic home office. Internet, basic word, excel, some face time and Google Meet. I am not doing any professional editing, video gaming, or designing. You may need something different for those applications.****

Before I turned the computer on I used the old cord, plugged in the old mouse, plugged in the Logitech MK320 wireless keyboard, and plugged in Linksys AC1200 WUSB6300 all which I was using on my 2006 iMac in my apartment. Turned on the iMac and windows appeared to prompt setup. All plugged in worked immediately. I may try the Bluetooth keyboard eventually and wireless mouse which require batteries. I will have to transfer docs out of the old iMac to here (was prompted in setup but put it off). May I suggest Libre 6.3.4 for Mac and make a donation for this freeware to continue to support us all? All of the technical specs are as listed on sale. Very happy and I think the price is competitive. Did communicate with Aja throughout the anxiety of purchase. I am temporarily working only so it’s important that all go as expected so the stress doesn’t weigh on me. Runs Sierra 10.12.6. I am downloading Canon D1100/MF6600 (UFRII LT) drivers. It worked on my 2006 iMac and works here. Thank you!

Por el precio me pareció una muy buena opción, tenia mis dudas por ser un producto renovado pero realmente es una muy buena opción para los que buscamos hacer crecer nuestro ecosistema de Apple o incluso ara ser una primera computadora marca Apple. Me gusto mucho y eñ producto que rebién en muy buen estado se me hizo justo por el precio que pague.

I ordered this and it came 2 days later. I was shocked. Opened it up looks brand new. Came with a new wireless mouse and a new wired keyboard. They are generic but i cant complain. Very happy so far. Just updated to the newest operation system that this computer will accommodate. I just need to get used to it as this is my first apple. Cant beat it for the money.

It’s was useless ,wasnt work proper. And seller refund was late .seller didn’t refund full money. I paid shipping handling fees and paid extra money to returned the item. It’s very cheap and worse service from seller

Excellent option, very good equipment and at a wonderful price. I recommend them to everyone who wants to have a Mac at a good price. The equipment looks like new. Although the keyboard and mouse are generic, it is still a very good deal. You will not regret this purchase.

For the price can’t complain at all. I had it for about 3 months now and it’s working very well. Upgraded it to the latest software (had to put in safe mode to upgrade). Volume works well, moves pretty fast for being a refurbished item. Great for working from home, had no scratches or marks. Only con is it did not come with an apple keyboard and mouse as stated in description. Came with a black keyboard and mouse which I gave away. Other than that, pretty great. Shocked.

I purchased this for my wife since she’d always wanted one. Initially, even know she didn’t say it, she was so disappointed. Yes it’s an older machine, but slow doesn’t even touch the surface. It was painfully slow at start-up and when starting any program. However, I just installed an external SSD drive and set it as the main drive and it’s extraordinarily faster altogether. No complaints since then. So in the end, it worked out.
