Just need extra storages. Wouldn’t hurt buying used hard drives, especially Enterprise Used Hard Drives, since they are usually built better and tougher than consumer drives.

This is the third one I bought and the first two are still working great, running 24/7. I have an older bios that limits to 2TB, so these bring me up to 8TB total capacity. Took me 8 years to fill the first ones up with Ancestry research, so I needed a pair for back up and these are solid and dependable server drives. Note: they do need to be formatted after installing before your bios will recognise them and assign them a HD letter.

These drives are nas which are rated for 24/7 use and my first one was a 500gb is the only drive 0r 8 to fail due to too many read/writes 1 month before warranty expired.

The drive installed super easy and I cannot even hear it running. It has a great price and will be used immediately.

I have dealt with plenty of hard drives in my hobby, but never have I ever had a drive immediately fail upon plugging it in. This drive immediately began making incredibly harsh screeching sounds until I disconnected it from a power supply, and has not shown up on any of my machines (Windows, Android, and Linux on PC). Buyer be warned!

If your looking for something to store large, not critical files, This works as good as any other drive. I’ve not had issues with it after a good 6 months or so but as with all hard drives, its pretty slow. I enjoy it as a secondary drive along with my faster boot drive SSD though and its going to enjoy a long life in my pc
