Upon purchasing this product I had no expectations for success of this product, due to the fact that I live in a six story apartment building made of concrete, cinder blocks and steel which was built back in the seventies and the low frequency of the Wifi system outside my apartment door is free. We all know we “get what we pay for.”
With the help of my sister with more knowledge about such things as I do, we were actually surprised with what we did get. My problem is getting the Wifi Signal in my apartment to use with my smart phone, smart TV and computer. Signal is still spotty at times due to usage at peak times, but it is much better during off peak times. It has helped, but given the situation I am a tad disappointed. However, I was not surprised.
I have not used tech support, so I cannot speak about it.

Since I can’t leave zero stars I am forced to give one star. The product was D.O.A. I was on hold for just over 30 minutes with amped customer service for someone to tell me what I already knew. No help at all. I will go back and stick with netgear.

Actually made WiFi worse. Tried to contact amped many times sitting 60 min or more on help and customer service lines without success. Wanted to return and is still in box

Set up worked with using a cat 5 wire. But I had to enter my home network name and password and set up the extended network on a non-secured website which just feels so wrong.

I tried installing a camera in the garage and place this to the room closest to the camera but sadly my wifi router has a stronger signal and it’s 2 rooms away while this device wifi signal is nonexistent…
