Point and shoot and know if there is a fever or not. Works really well for kids. It’s hard enough to take a child’s temperature when they are feeling well…when they are not feeling good it’s nearly impossible. With this thermometer I can take his temp without him even realizing I did anything.

Dont bother. This product takes a long time to turn on and even longer to read the temperature. Just get a good one and avoid this crap.

I like the low price and its simplicity. It’s easy to operate; turn it on, wait for it to beep, place it in front of your forehead…about half an inch or so…, press the button once, let go and wait for the beep. It’s accurate when compared to an analog thermometer which goes under the tongue. And you can’t beat the price, $25 as of my writing this review, plus a 20 percent discount. It has worked fine for us, and I recommend it.

The accuracy is not good. Sometimes wilI only read 97. I don’t like that it only lights up sometimes. The ready Beep is very low.

I can only surmise that I’ve developed an unwarranted skepticism, probably caused by global warming. This unit works very well and as advertised. Lite weight and easy to use but I found. installing the batteries a particular challenge – could not get the battery cover off without resorting to a fine blade knife.

The digits on the LCD screen are not displayed in full, difficult to identify what the number is. Yes new batteries were used. Not able to read the numbers. Not happy with this product and will not recommend it.
