I recently purchased the OBD2 Scanner Reader Bluetooth Wireless, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. One of the standout features is its seamless Bluetooth connectivity, which instantly pairs with my iPhone without any hassle. This smart 1s auto-connect capability saves me valuable time, allowing me to focus on diagnosing and resolving issues with my vehicle.
The ability to clear error codes and access live data in real-time is incredibly convenient. It provides me with accurate insights into my vehicle’s performance, speed, fuel efficiency, and even voltage levels. This comprehensive diagnostic tool empowers me to address any issues promptly, ensuring optimal performance and safety on the road.
I appreciate the user-friendly interface, which makes navigation a breeze, even for someone like me who isn’t a tech expert. Whether I’m using it on my iPhone, the compatibility is seamless, offering versatility for different users.
Additionally, the reset function has come in handy multiple times, allowing me to reset diagnostic trouble codes and perform various maintenance tasks with ease. It’s like having a professional mechanic in the palm of my hand.
Overall, I highly recommend the OBD2 Scanner Reader Bluetooth Wireless to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient diagnostic tool for their vehicle. Its combination of smart features, ease of use, and versatility make it a valuable addition to any car enthusiast’s toolkit.

I purchased the OBD2 Scanner Reader Bluetooth Wireless for my 2006 Buick LaCrosse, and it’s been a great addition to my car toolkit.
One of the standout features is how easy it is to use. Just plug it in, connect to the app, and you’re good to go. The scanner provides exact recommendations on how to fix error codes, which is incredibly helpful for someone like me who isn’t a car expert. I also appreciate the continuous readings of engine vitals—it’s great to have real-time data on things like temperature and RPM.
However, there are a couple of downsides. Some of the readouts can be delayed, which might cause a bit of confusion when you’re trying to get real-time information. Additionally, some measurements are in units that aren’t very intuitive or helpful for the average user, which can be a bit frustrating.
Overall, despite these minor issues, this OBD2 scanner has been a valuable tool for maintaining my vehicle. It’s a must-have for any car owner who wants to take a more hands-on approach to car maintenance. I highly recommend it!

I bought the AMTIFO B25 scanner as my first OBD2 scanner a few weeks ago, just to see what I can get from it. I am not an auto mechanic but just a regular car owner, and in my DIY efforts to fix some car issues I find such a scanner should be able to give me more information about my car than just a ad hoc sense I have about it, or what the car instrument panel shows.
I am using the AMOBD app, as was recommended by the vendor. Very easy download, and creating an account was a breeze. Initially I had trouble connecting the scanner with the app on my phone, even though I had bluetooth already turned on on my phone. I later realized that there is an app-specific bluetooth switch in settings on my phone, and for some reason it was not enabled when the app was installed. Turning that on, and the app instantly connects to the scanner. The car was identified and I was able to access all the functionalities of the scanner. The engine tests and battery tests appear to be quite extensive.
As I said I am not an auto mechanic so I have not used many of functionalities. The app’s interface looks pretty sleek, well organized and easy to navigate. I plugged the scanner into both of my cars, and it identified them with no issues. It gives you different functionalities based on what extent the car manufacturers choose to adhere to the OBD2 standard and what data they choose to expose to the scanner. The scanner currently supports 9 car makes (fortunately both my cars fall within the list of supported makes) and AMTIFO publishes those 9 makes so it’s easy to see if your car is supported.
I talked to customer service since I was curious about two specific capabilities they mentioned on their Amazon product page (in the Q&A section.) I did find their customer service very responsive, and they answered my questions.
The two questions I had were 1. Transmission Control Unit. 2. TPMS.
It turns out that while the scanner does have transmission tests available which’d tell you if your transmission has an issue or not, it does not expose individual parameters such as the transmission fluid temperature. I believe this depends on what the car manufacturer chooses to expose via the OBD2 interface publicly (so any scanner can read it,) and if there are private partnerships between the scanner supplier and the car manufacturer; because there are scanners (from what I saw in some Youtube videos) that can certainly show the transmission fluid temperature. However those scanners are very expensive (hundreds of dollars) and most require an annual subscription as well. This would only make sense for professional auto shops that need the most updated information on the broadest possible number of makes and models. For a occasional car DIY person, it does not justify the cost.
The 2nd question is about TPMS, or Tire Pressure Monitoring System. I was just curious if I could use the scanner to read tire pressure from the car computer. In fact I could easily use a tire gauge to measure the pressure myself, but just wonder if the OBD2 scanner can give me that information using the sleek app interface.
(I know both of my cars have the TPMS sensor built into the tire valve stems because my newer car (2017) actually can give me the reading on its instrument panel, whereas in the older car (2011) there is no instrument reading but a warning light would come on if one or more tires are under-inflated)
Unfortunately, the B25 scanner does not expose any TPMS reading for me. AMTIFO Customer Service says only a subset of models of the 9 supported car makes can show TPMS readings currently, but they are actively working to expand their coverage.
I don’t doubt that it takes a lot of effort to get more functionality into a scanner like this, which is why the high end scanners are very expensive. What is quite remarkable about the AMTIFO B25, as it is, is what functionality it already includes at this price point. If they can actually expand both its make/model and functionality coverage, it will be truly amazing. The good thing is, if and when that happens, you automatically get that via the OTA wireless upgrades, according to customer service.
So in summary, I really like the product, the price point, and the fact that their customer service actually answered my questions in a timely manner. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to give it a try.

TL;DR: Does not function, don’t waste your time. Unit powers on and the app is able to connect to it, but (1) does not connect to vehicle and (2) firmware update does not work.
Purchased to pull a simple DTC code. Read the (very short) directions carefully, installed the YMOBD app, as instructed. Turned on ignition (did not start car) after verifying battery voltage (12.6v). LED on the unit came on (red). Opened the app, and the app quickly connected to the unit. Light on the unit turned blue. App popped up a warning saying that I should upgrade the device’s firmware (which is not a good sign, since I *just* received it today), but whatever, I clicked on “Upgrade” and waited. First it sound Downloading, got to 100%, then said Verifying, then said Verification Complete. At this point, the update process just hangs. Left it alone for +/- 20 minutes and nothing changed – it still just said “Verification Complete” with no buttons available except for the back arrow.
Tried pulling DTC codes regardless, but the unit said it wasn’t connected to a vehicle. So, I tried updating firmware again. Spent around 45 minutes in total trying to make it work to no avail.
