Loved these glasses, very sturdy and nice design
However, these are seconds, as two of the four glasses arrived cracked and unusable.
Additionally, I’m not sure there’s a brand name saying “anchor hocking” on them. This site sells a lot of cheap knock offs as the real thing, and I no longer trust Amazon.

After I opened the package, I put them in the dishwasher. 1 cup is already broken after the first wash. These seem poorly made, considering from Anchor Hocking.

From the reviews, I was concerned that my 5 ft tall wife with small hands would have trouble with these glasses. However, she liked them and felt comfortable with them from the start. They’re a little heavier than typical and they are lovely. We use them as nice everyday glasses.

This glass is heavy and beautiful. Bottom is solid so no chance of it falling over. The lower area is etched, so your hand doesn’t slip with condensation, giving a nice grip. I was tired of thin, narrow bottomed glasses that broke easily. Highly recommend.

I needed new glasses and searched high and low for drinking glasses that held a decent amount of fluid but were still thin enough to fit into a typical dishwasher glass rack and were retro looking but sturdy.
These fit the bill in every regard. These are so heavy I’m pretty sure you could brain an intruder in an emergency and still enjoy a highball in the glass afterwards. And they are beautiful in an understated, early 20th century design. But there’s not so many flourishes as to make them difficult to hold or to clean.
I would say they could be a challenge for tiny hands. Having said that, I have small hands and I can hold these glasses in one hand just fine. I highly recommend them!

These aren’t made of “thin glass” which chips/fractures easily. This is a heavier, thicker glass. Would not use these for kids. They’re too big for tiny hands (I use them for everyday drinking glasses) Great quality & pretty

These glasses are very handsome, and well made. They are very heavy and wide, which can make them difficult to hold, especially if they are wet from condensation. The design does add texture, which helps with this problem. I expect them to last forever, if I don’t drop them.
