Despite Apple’s screen limitation with these earlier M1 MacBook Pros – it seems there is a way around it. You just need this amazing device from Anker – it really works as advertised.
The HDMI output is set at 2k (my preferred scale) at 30 fps but can scale up to the full 4k. The DisplayPort output is running at 2k (my preferred scale) at 60 fps, and seems to be limited to 2k. Either way it’s perfect for my setup!
Haven’t tested the other ports, but having ethernet, power etc…makes this just 1 USB-C cord to connect to my laptop…and can even run fine with the laptop closed.

So I got this when I upgraded my office set up to have a triple monitor set up and about 3-4 months after I got it the port that controls the output for the video was no longer picking up any docking input nor was it charging my MBA. So I reached out to customer service and after exhausting all the troubleshooting steps I’ve done, they’ve done, and Apple has done, it was processed for a replacement. The level of excitement I got when it was confirmed delivered I hooked it back up and everything IMMEDIATELY started working. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking to set up a triple monitor set up. I have it mounted under my desk along with my MBA docked so all the cable management is sinched back up and neat. GET IT and you won’t be sorry!

I love the small footprint of the USB hub but it has plenty of ports to power everything I need. I am very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend!

As others said, it’s okay for multi monitor setup. Not perfect but gets the job done. Have to use the DisplayLink application which is fine. Not ideal, but works. Breaks anything that has DRM protection because it detects that you may be screen recording.
My biggest gripe is longevity. Mine is starting to die already. Usb ports are starting to give out. I had previously ordered another Anker dock (different model) and it was dead on arrival.
I’d look at other brands for a quality dock. I have a Dell dock as well. It’s a beast, but at least it’s lasted more than a year.

I have a MacBook Air (M2) and an older MacBook Pro (Intel chip) and getting them to consistently do multi-screen properly has been an ordeal … until today!
Went to website Anker listed on the dock sticker, downloaded DisplayLink drivers, plugged in, and voila – three separate screens all working perfectly. Swap cable from Air to Pro and back, three screens just WORKS. So happy to get rid of my old CalDigit thunderbolt unit that was theoretically doing that but was always finicky.
Also using https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B54S58SX magnetic adaptors for USBC to make swapping between my Macs (plus my work MBAir) even easier.

Just received my Anker 563 USB-C Docking Station (10-in-1) with the big 180 Watt power supply. In short order I have connected two external monitors and I am making use of all of the other available outputs. Everything is working perfectly. The dock is quite substantial and appears to be very well made. If it keeps working I will be a very satisfied customer.

I love how fast the dock charges my laptops. I use it for my HP Envy and my M1 Macbook Pro. Make sure you install DisplayLink if you want the other HDMI/DisplayPort to work.
Update: Recently I’ve had to power cycle the dock when using it with my HP Envy, due to one of the monitors disconnecting and reconnecting, but the screen is split, might just be cuz its an older laptop.

If you’ve got the M chip in your MacBook Pro this dock is amazing. The charging is very fast with the 100W, the multiple monitors works perfectly every time. The additional ports work exactly how they are supposed it. It was actually great to have a Dock that does a lot that doesn’t require fiddling or messing with to make work.

Exactly what I needed. I work from home 3/5 days and use my laptop to dock at home then at work. This dock makes connecting my two monitors and all peripherals a breeze. The work docking station (another more expensive brand) doesnโt work as good as this one. Highly recommended!!

I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one about this product after having the both original and the replacement breaking down after just 2 weeks. The same issue happened with both: they worked just fine initially and then suddenly turned off. When I turned them back on, all the front USB ports were gone. I had a USB microphone connected to the first one and it fried it (there went $200 down the drain). I strongly recommend not buying this product unless you have nothing valuable connected to it and you feel like taking a risk.

Amazing! Allows me to have duo monitor display with my m1 macbook

I bought because my workflow at the office requires I have three monitors, however the M-1 does not support this setup. Well, I picked this dock up from Anker for around $125 and man it is great. I powered it up, plugged in my speakers, USB mouse/keyboard, webcam and two HDMI/one DisplayPort and click power, opened up my MacBook and clicked ‘allow’ on the dock, and everything worked right out of the box with no configuration. Very pleased. I did not even need to do anything with the Display Link software which I was under the impression I would.

Worked well for a year, then died. Hoping warranty takes care of it.
