Perfect travel charger to juice up my smartphones, bluetooth speaker and my Anker Powercore 26800mah battery pack with dual charging port. And is lighter and smaller than I expected. Best replacement to Apple’s crappy and puny 5V iphone charger.
You can plug this directly on most surge-connectors or just get a conversion plug (for my fellow Indian brethren).

For some reason this Anker device charges my iPhone and iPad faster than my previous charger did, but is no faster for my other devices like my Bluetooth speakers and my rechargeable flashlights. I suspect it has to do with the other devices internal circuitry rather than the charger itself that explains the difference, so I’m still giving it five stars. This Anker charger has performed well without any issues since purchasing it 19 months ago. I recently purchased another one which is also working well. The folding plug works well and is great for travel. The blue light also alerted me to not leave it in a hotel room, which unfortunately I have done in the past with chargers without a light.

Okay, I’ll admit it, I like USB power supplies that have a light on them so that I know they’re plugged into a power strip that’s turned on. But it’s the speed of charging my iPhone (i.e. the PowerIQ feature), and the general reliability of Anker products, as compared to the no-name “ice cube” USB power supplies, that has made me buy several of these Anker units over the past few years.
The worst that I can say about any of the Anker USB power supplies that I have bought so far (about five in total) is that the blue LED light on one unit quit after about three years of use, but the unit itself still works fine. I put it in the bedroom to keep the room dark at night while charging my smart phone.
I keep one of these units near the front door for those times when I forget to charge my phone overnight, and want to give it a quick charge in the morning before I head out the door. This gives the much slower cigar-lighter charger in my car a big head start.

I have purchased 5 or 6 of these over the past several years. I end up giving them to my college kids, or leaving them in a hotel room somewhere. They are the best chargers I have ever used. Dependable, long lasting (if you don’t leave them in hotels), and reasonable in price given the quality. I wouldn’t buy any other charger for our iphones.
