I have bought several of these plug in styles for my bedroom, but the bulk of them seemed to make a humming noise. This one is good so far! I also love that they have plugs on the top, sides and front. Works well for having a table lamp at the back, iPhone and other plug in options in the front. Very happy with it so far.

I use this Anker USB C Power with 300J Surge Protector to power portable appliances, specifically a small space heater and a tower fan. The 5’ extension cord lets me run it under furniture, and the (relatively)compact head with 6 AC outlets is unobtrusive and gives options to power other items such as a small lamp without an unsightly mess of cords. The strip tucks neatly under bed, dresser, side table, etc. I have not had call to use the USB-A and -C ports (I plug an Anker 30W Nano-cube into the strip to power my iPad, but they are a handy addition. The built-in circuit breaker and thermal protection (which thankfully I have not had to test) and ground indicators are welcome features in my applications.
I have noticed I seem to be buying all things Anker for my ancillary power needs (including Anker high-power USB cables and battery packs). I am happy with the apparent quality and performance of Anker products, and so far so good on all-important durability. Corresponding products are available at lower prices , but the cost of replacing a single device, much less my house, makes Anker products an extremely good value to me.

I am updating my review to 5 stars after AnkerDirect reached out to address the issue of my item no longer working. I was very pleased with the customer service, as they provided options to resolve my issue. I decided to have a new replacement sent as I do like this brand and wanted to give this item another try. The replacement order was placed immediately and shipped out and received within the same week. I have been able to use the new surge protector power outlet without issues and happy it has been working properly and to my usage.
Original review-Stopped working 4 months into using it I’ve owned the same an Anker portiable charger for many years now, so I was hopeful this item would be good, unfortunately it hasn’t held up. If I could give a negative zero for Charging Power I would, but I can’t, my reason for low review is because in November it started having issues with providing power to the items plugged into it. At first I thought it was my cords but after using several different cords, it was clear it was this power strip. I was especially bummed as this all started just a month after my eligible return date. So save yourself the trouble and buy one more reliant with longer return time if necessary from a Walmart, Target, The Home Depot or Lowes.

It is an Anker – so it is excellent. We only buy Anker products and have never been disappointed. To charge two items with a “C” interface, the wall plug for one must be used and the other can be plugged into the strip. Charging three items at the same time does somewhat slow charging times. We use this in our travel trailer at the campsite, so do not know if the charging speed would be different at home. Recommend.

I’m a big fan of Anker power products—they’re solid in build quality and performance, not to mention that if you can snag one on sale, the price is very reasonable. This particular surge protector is solidly constructed and designed to have varied options for plugs. While its design allows for flexibility in charging, it is not compact nor its cord flexible to use for travel. For in-home use that doesn’t require maneuverability of the power cord, this surge protector is a great choice for expanding and extending your outlet needs.
