Amazon Customer –
So far so good with this UPS. I was able to get it set up with my NAS very easily.

This APC model delivers a maximum load of 600w for baking up electronics and also provides surge protection. Fairly priced and offers a generous warranty from a well-known company.

Works perfectly

Come da titolo questo UPS è a 120 Volt quindi inutilizzabile in Italia… peccato perchè il prezzo sarebbe stato ottimo!

Tenemos varios apagones y este backup ha cumplido! esperemos que dure como el anterior

Works well, easy to use, PC recognized it immediately. Nice display. Alarm will go off if too much power is connected to it. It has a battery and will keep your electronics on after your power goes out, it can then safely save and shut down your computer. It is large and heavy. It has a lot of power. It does not have a smell or speed.

I am as old as dirt and I was able to figure out how to set this up. I’ve hooked up several things to it using both the “surge protection only” outlets as well as hooking up two external hard drives to the outlets that keep power to them and one desk top computer. As I wrote in my headline, so far so good. I haven’t lost power yet so I can’t comment on that part… if it keeps the things I’ve plugged in to the power outlets going or not. Oh, and one more thing, I have not noticed any kind of odor with this one. I am very sensitive to smells. The last one I bought had a terrible odor for weeks and weeks. And while it is heavy for an old lady it was not too heavy.

Had to RMA the first one, and fortunately APC is good about handling RMAs and was very helpful. When you receive it, you need to plug in the battery yourself (and unplug it if you need to ship it back), so expect a spark when doing so.
On a mid-end gaming PC this battery affords me about 25 minutes of time without power during light tasks, and about 6 minutes if I’m running an intensive application or game. The Powerchute software helps monitor event history and check the maintenance and status of the battery.
I’d recommend disabling the alert noises because this thing is *incredibly* loud, and getting a power surge in the middle of the night for it to screech at you is not ideal. (I’m honestly surprised that isn’t the default MO for this model, considering it’s more for consumer use than commercial use.)

Muy buena opción para el hogar u oficina.

The battery works great, but I didn’t like the plug placement – they are too close together, and if you have cables with wide tops, you cover up ports – I had to buy short plug extenders to be able to use all the plugs.

I recently purchased the APC Back-UPS Pro 700VA UPS Battery Backup & Surge Protector (BR700G) and am thoroughly impressed by its performance. The unit arrived well-packaged, ensuring its safety during transport, and I found it incredibly user-friendly to set up and operate.
Having tried various brands and even an APC model 20 years ago, I can confidently say that APC’s quality consistently stands out. Their devices truly go above and beyond in terms of reliability and longevity. My oldest APC unit is still operational after 20 years, thanks to a simple battery replacement.
However, one downside is the cost of original replacement batteries, which I find quite expensive. Despite this, my trust in the APC brand remains strong due to their products’ enduring quality and performance.

Works as intended.
